Being without a phone sucks... Take it from someone who has a phone that is out of service more often than it's in service :/
Eh, could be worse. My old phone had a nasty habit of semi-crashing in mid-call (i.e. the phone would become completely unresponsive, requiring a battery pull to do anything), running out of battery way before the advertised life of the phone (I got maybe an hour talk, far less with the screen on), and suddenly refusing to talk to the cellular network. Basically, the specific issue that I'd see would depend on the version of Android that I had on it at the time. Sadly, the stock firmware was actually worse in terms of battery life.
Android on the HTC Dream made me want to go back to using a Motorola dumbphone (specifically, my old V3x -- beat to hell, but still works amazingly well).
So does anyone even care about Bradly Manning? I feel disgusted at the way no one cares, or supports the way he's being treated.
The way that he's being treated and the way that certain parties are treating him (i.e. calling for the death penalty) makes me absolutely livid.
If his actions directly caused innocent parties harm, that would be a different story. Based on everything I've seen, his actions brought to light atrocities ("Collateral Murder"), caused due scrutiny in internal affairs (the diplomatic cables leak), and brought to light an incredible lack of security in our military. Why on earth would a private first class have access to that kind of data? Furthermore, why in the hell would he be permitted to bring recordable media into a secure area?
