Spectere:
It wouldn't be difficult, but it would be expensive. On one hand you'd have the morons who think that just because they have a GTX 980 Ti that throwing 12GB of textures at it is a good idea, and people who are that dumb tend to yell the loudest. Doom 3 did that back in the day (Ultra doesn't improve the texture resolution, it just throws uncompressed textures at the video card) and even a stern warning didn't dissuade the people with 64MB VRAM from cranking the settings up.

There's also a major risk-reward issue to consider: their artists and graphic designers would be throwing time and resources into something that almost nobody could use until a couple of years after launch. With the cost of AAA game development rising as it is, that's not a cost that most companies are willing to incur.

I don't remember the exact heading that it's under (I had to delete FC4 to free up some space), but it was something like fur/hair simulation. I believe there were three options, which translate to: off, basic, and fry your GPU.

MO is pretty awesome. It can be a bit of a PITA to use with FNIS and other utilities that dump a bunch of files in the main data directory, but as soon as you get into a routine it just becomes a minor annoyance. It basically sandboxes all of your mods so you get really fine control over overwrites and stuff like that. I switched to it and can't see myself ever wanting to go back to NMM or manual mod management. It also lets you unshoot yourself in the foot by just unchecking boxes rather than uninstalling and hoping that everything gets restored properly. As an added bonus, it lets you define multiple profiles, complete with the option of having separate saved games and configurations for each one.

As far as your issue goes, I can't say for sure unfortunately. I'm not familiar with a lot of those mods and how they interact.

Papyrus logs might help (I don't remember if those get generated and populated at launch or if it happens when the game is loaded). Throw this in your skyrim.ini:

--- Code: ---[Papyrus]
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1
--- End code ---

(be sure to replace the old [Papyrus] section if one exists)

Launch the game and see if a Logs directory gets created inside of your Skyrim user directory.

If I had to guess, I would say that NMM most likely reinstalled your mods in the wrong order or something goofy like that.

Edit: I didn't take all that many Far Cry 4 screenies, apparently, and most of them are kinda crappy for various reasons (tone mapping making some questionable decisions, overblown sharpness filters, bad positioning, etc). I did find one half-decent one, at least.

The sheer amount of detail on the glove and weapon textures is pretty awesome. I wish they would have extended the same care to Ajay's arm. Seriously guys, what the hell?

Hey, it looks like Fallout 3! And by that I mean it's all green!

Edit: On-topic:

Zephlar:
I did some Photoshopping for a guy in a FB Skyrim group I'm in. He posted some of his cosplay work and me and couple users had a little Photoshop battle.

Zephlar:
And since I'm back on topic with Skyrim. Here's a dump of some of my favorite screenies:
