I've had 68% and 72% as my highest. I'd love to have it repeated. As amazing as 10th is, I time it weird.

I passed Raining Blood on expert :3

Jesus christ this game is significantly harder than the second one D:

Through the Fire and the Flames is just retarded, I can't even get past the stupid beginning part on expert, although if I play it in faceoff I get upwards of 80%.

I love guitar hero haha. We have it in our break room at my job, really. Which is awesome. 1 wired SG, 1 wireless explorer, the ps2, and all GH games to date.

classy!

I whore it. Also: Yeah, in face off, I pulled an 83 on it, but I can't get past the beginning by myself, that part is just stupid. I figure I could spam my way though the rest though.

Beat guitar hero III on expert.
Lou took me a good 4 attempts.
Raining Blood only once [second time playing the song, the first time i just laughed. at the mosh part]
Then i went on to play through fire and flames as the credits rolled. I think i did really well, i wish it would have displayed the stats.

I 5-starred Cliffs of Dover, that has to be one of the funnest songs in the entire game.

Also: How on earth do you not manage to screw up the hammer-ons at the beginning of Through the Fire and the Flames? I spent a good half-hour on it in practice, and am able to FC it on slow, but I put it up a notch and play fullspeed, and somehow can't manage to even get going. :<

Fuck you.

Also, apparently GH3 blows for the PS2 (POS2?). In co-op mode any time anything interesting happened, the input would begin to lag badly. Enough to make stuff like this nearly impossible:

Code: [Select]
x-x-|x-x-
----|----
--x-|--x-
--x-|--x-
----|----

It lags enough to barely register when I hit the 2 extra notes. And the wireless controller is even worse. I played some of the stuff for F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. on both controllers and found that both had lag when I played, but it was much worse with the wireless. Oh, and when loading one of the bonus songs the loading animation on the guy's arm got all fucked up and garbled. That's not exactly a good sign either.

I'm lucky this was my brother's money and not mine or I'd be really pissed.
This is going in my sig. :)

I've really had no problems with my PS2 version, besides some funny graphical glitches and load times being slightly longer than expected. The responsivity problems I've heard people reporting are generally nullified whenever I use my wired guitars, I dislike the new wireless one anyways.

I'm not a fan of the wireless either (I like the strum bar, but not the frets), however, the lag I'm talking about affects both the wireless and wired controllers. It's less so on the wired, but still noticeable for me. (Not so much for my brother, because he hasn't been playing music games like me, and still doesn't believe me when I say that there is still some lag.)

Honestly, after 5 years of Stepmania, along with O2Jam, DJMax, and IIDX, I think I can tell when there's lag on the input.
