ive been posting too much today

red zone [a]

pass

now i have to catch the fuck back up to milk chan, its like climbing mount everest

You have more 11s passed than me (I have 11...you have 13 now?) so I need to catch up to you. Yet you also have more styles than I do so i'm more limited.

Also midway to AA on Nageki no ki [h].

lets see

72% fail on contract [a]  starting to get into the groove of the thing

60something % on tripping contact [a], just need to do the last measure and its all gravy

soon as i pop due tomorrow in training modeand get myself to do the end drill, that is as good as passable

and the ending scale on the moonspeak 11* which is in the cardinal gate that i can't seem to figure the name of...60something% fail, just need to get the ending piano thing and that should be okiedokie.

so no real "progress" but a good bit of almost progress, two 11's and two 12's within passing range is pretty tight

It's Byakko for short. The name is Kachoufusetsu or Hanchou (?) Fusetsu. Depends on how you want to translate it.

Also, you should all agree with me on this. Onoken would be an awesome artist to get licensed for some CS IIDX goodness (K8107 and bbblow ftw?)

It's just Kachoufusetsu. A lot of people thought it was Hana Chou Fusetsu but that isn't what they were going for. It's named after a Japanese poem or something.

And what the hell the ending of tripping contact [a] is WAY harder than anything Kachoufusetsu [a] has. I passed Kachou a looooong time ago and I don't even get close to getting through tripping contact's ending.

Is it 花鳥敷設, or 花鳥付設? (neither of which make much sense to me, since fusetsu either means annex/affiliated structure, or construction/laying (of a raod)).
The first part is always romanized as kachou. While 花 can be read hana, that isn't always the case, since some kanji have different readings when combined in different ways.

Either way, there you go, a bit better explanation of the romanization. Hana Chou Fusetsu would be an incorrect romanization.
This is going in my sig. :)

I have 1 song left to pass in GH80's, and 9 songs left to 5*. I missed Radar Love by ~5,000 points just now. That song is so hard to 5* it's unbelievable.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

KoC is actually relatively easy to pass as long as you can strum well. The only part that gave me grief was Galloping Triplets because my hand kept cramping up.

If you can pass KoC, I suggest starting Expert career.

Anyways, I made it halfway through Mosh 1 today without SP. I guess that's an accomplishment.

Yeah, I had to practice Galloping Triplets a few times before I got it. And I did start Expert career, it's really not all that hard. It just sounds a lot harder than it is (I guess until I start getting to the last venue, christ)

The last two get significantly harder.

There's my Holic [a] video. Suck my dick.

And here's a Sakura [h] video. I always feel retarded when it comes to the timing of that song:

I don't know why so many people have trouble with Holic [a]'s ending. Really, it's more or less the same pattern. Think of it like Nemesis [a]'s long repetitve pattern right after the break in the music. Just practice it in training mode and you should be fine.

I popped in GH1 for the first time in over a year today, and beat every song in Expert Career on my first try except for Texas Flood, and even then it was only because of an accidental activation. The charts in GH1 seem a lot easier than the later ones, even with the horrible HO/PO system.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Well.. yeah. I basically raped that game, compared to what I was getting in GH2 at the time I played it. (We borrowed it from a friend, we only own GH2 and 3). I nearly crapped myself at how easy (and how bad, in some cases) the charts were. Some of them just really felt out of place.

O2Jam is fun. I forgot how much fun it was. I'm gonna start playing that a little bit until I get IIDX Red.
