- Star Trek movie. It's either going to be amazing or awful, I want to see which.
- Nothing really
- Learn guitar
- Learn guitar
- I don't think he will. Bush didn't get assassinated, and far more people hate him.
- I see it slowly decreasing to a limit, then puttering along while shaking its fist at Europe.
- Nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned. Only difference between that calendar and any other doomsday hoax is the amount of media attention it's getting.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

-Graduating high school and turning 18. Also going to Florida for a week or so as a grad present.
-It was an alright year. Not bad but not good. Won't miss anything, really.
-Getting a license, getting a car, getting an apartment, start dating, clearing everything in IIDX.
-listed above
-Security will probably be tighter than usual, so no.
-Slump then probably slowly bounce back near mid-late '09
-I'll deal with it in 3 years >_>...

-Videogames as always. Hopefully I'll get a decent job within 09 considering I'm almost done with my drafting program.
-Nothing, nothing happened in 08.
-See previous answer.
-Nothing, other then work hard in school and possibly get employed.
-No, because no one cares enough.
-We will be owned by China, which isn't awful because chine has some really nice architecture.
-PERHAPS THEY SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE DOWNFALL OF THEIR OWN SOCIETY. Or did they, I can't remember...

-Europe trip with Ohio band and probably meeting 3-4 people I know there
-A few people from high school
-Crack the early Pump It Up games and both TechnoMotions
-Nothing, they're pretty useless
-No, he's not stupid enough to dodge Secret Service protection
-Depends on how the gasoline and house prices go. Probably slump.
-Excellent astronomers, but they made the mistake of attaching a religious event to an astronomical one.

Things you look forward to in 2009
Actually being able to really study music.  Finally.
The Summer Shenanigans that already sorta seem to be in the planning stages.

Things you'll miss of 2008
I can't really think of too much.  Not that it was a bad year.  It was a hell of a lot better than 2007.  Just about anything epic that happened last year could quite possibly occur again this year...So...Whee!

Stuff you would like to accomplish in the next year/beyond
Learn how to play my bagpipes.
Learn how to drive.
Perhaps get my way into a much better college.

Typical new year's resolutions
Basically, the standard lose weight bit.  Last year, I only just tried to keep myself from gaining more weight.  Now, I'm trying to lose some.  x.x;  Joy.

Will Obama be assassinated in 2009 or later, if so, when/why not
Hell if I know.

Will America's economy gracefully recover or slump/slowly mope along
Mope mope mope.

Any thoughts pertaining to the Mayan Calendar
It's something to think about, in the sense that dressing small puppies in cute sweaters is something to think about.  Nothing too serious.  I do find it interesting that ever since I was like four years old I've felt I wouldn't live past 25.  Incidentally, the world is supposed to end just before I turn 26.  Hahaha.

Or basically, any thoughts/ideas/feelings/what have you about the previous year relating to the upcoming year.
to be announced.
actually fuck you guys just kidding keep my quote in your sigs

As jupi said 2008 was also one hell of a year for me as well.

Just hoping a few thing I am trying to work on come true.

Busta.

Things you look forward to in 2009
- Star Trek movie, Dragon Ball movie, Watchmen movie.  Second one because it's gonna suck dragon's balls, and the first because I like some of the bustas they got, like Zachary Quinto and Simon Pegg.  I doubt I'll be the first to make a "you've got red on you" joke when Pegg shows up on screen, though.

Things you'll miss of 2008
- All of those great opportunities I miss, like every year, that I'm too retarded to notice.

Stuff you would like to accomplish in the next year/beyond
- Lose fat. :<
- Get better at D&D

Typical new year's resolutions
- Beat SIX games.

Will Obama be assassinated in 2009 or later, if so, when/why not
- I think he should be fine.  Nobody succeeded to assassinate Pierce, Buchanon, or Dubyah during their terms.

Will America's economy gracefully recover or slump/slowly mope along
- Iz guna epic flail liek a chain & ball.

Any thoughts pertaining to the Mayan Calendar
- If I remember correctly, depending on the way the calendar is counted, doomsday ends up somewhere between Dec 21 and Dec 24.  About a 50% chance of the world ending before my 21st birthday.  No worries, though, the Mayans were stupidstitious maniacal bastards.
