Due to a number of unexplainable and, well, very odd issues that Kuroneko and I have been having with my current host I've decided to pack up and move again. It was nice having full control over the server, but when that control comes at the expense of having to manually fix any bizarre problems that occur and having to jump through several hoops to do certain tasks I figure it's time to draw the line.
Long story short, I'm going to sign up with an account on a new host this week. On Friday at roughly 11PM EST (possibly a few hours sooner), both of the hosted forums will be brought down, the MySQL databases will be backed up, and the data will be migrated. By the time Saturday rolls around the site should be back up and running on the new server.
During the outage, the main site and all subdomains (kuroneko.spectere.net and blacktooth.spectere.net) will be taken offline and replaced with a placeholder page until the changeover is made.
If you have any questions regarding this, you can either reply to this thread or PM me. Thanks!

Good thing the domain and the server are two separate things, then. And it's doubly good that I remembered to renew the domain one day before it expired. HAH, I thwarted your plan without even realizing it! >:D >:D >:D

Who will you be moving to for hosting?
-
That sucks but but if you need what needs to be done then so be it.

HostGator (http://www.hostgator.com/).
I've used them a little bit before (on someone else's account, obviously) and they seem to be pretty feature-packed and quick.
