Title: [Video] Aldrasio plays Salieri Strikes Back
Post by: annon on November 16, 2007, 02:14:53 AM
After getting a very sudden boost in finger speed (from comfortably doing about 14.5 taps per second to around 16), I decided to make a video of me playing my current favorite file, Salieri Strikes Back.

http://hs.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=5791384862

The original file is a 106 MB .mov file. I'd convert it to a more space-friendly format to upload to YouTube, but since there are no free converters for the .mov format (at least that I could find for Windows) and I don't feel like cracking an expensive one, I just went and uploaded it to Facebook, since they have a 300 MB limit as opposed to YouTube's 100 MB limit.

Shame on you.

Does nobody use AVI any more? I mean, I'm sure if you'd managed to get it in an AVI XviD would have compressed it quite a bit for it to look like that. (I'm pretty sure most of the quality issues are the camera, but either way, you don't need a high quality version of the vid of the original looks like that, i'll compress pretty far before looking any worse)

It's because it's the format my camera captures in. Believe me, I'd prefer .avi, but the camera that does take .avi sucks at A/V syncing.

:/ That really sucks ass. I would have gotten something else if at all possible.
