Man, the people in TF2 are such bullshit. I'm starting to get so pissed off at the fact that theres no point in being a spy when all they do is constantly shoot at everyone they see, regardless if they're on the same team or not.
They really should turn Friendly Fire ON so theose fucking idiots won't do it. Its bullshit, theres really no point in being a spy at all.

Lol that sucks. Thats what I like about fortress forever, at least spies could go invisible (SGs would still shoot you tho, infact FF had a lot that TF2 didn't).

Oh we can go invisible, but we can't do shit but walk around when we're invisible, when we want to attack, we have to go back visible which takes like 3 or 4 seconds before you can even do an attack, and by that time they've turned around and spotted you, and start shooting at you because they shoot at every person they see.

I'll probably be getting that, just all depends on when I get my shit together.

Alright. I'm really liking it when I can play, but the issue with my school network is that I get terrible, crippling lag spikes every few seconds during the day, so I'll probably only be able to play really late, like past 11.

Spies really aren't supposed to run around attacking people, though.  It's more of a recon class.  Friendly fire does make it sort of suck, though, due to people reflexively shooting their teammates to uncover spies.

What I think would be better than friendly fire is mirror damage.  Like, if you shoot your teammate, they don't take any damage but you receive, say, 50% of what they would have received.  You would, of course, get griefers that run in front of your rocket to screw you over, but to counter that they could make it so that projectile weapons either don't do mirror damage or that mirror damage isn't done after the projectile is in the air for a given period of time (500ms, perhaps).

They really nerfed the spy compared to TF1/TFC.  Even if friendly fire were on in those two games the spy had a very nice grenade type that really messed with the players (it caused hallucinations and warbled the view slightly).

I personally think it'd be better if we could attacked WHILE stealthed, considering we only have a few seconds in stealth in the first place. Either that or the friendly fire thing, because spies are basically useless unless one of those things were to be put in there.
I even played last night, disguised as an engineer beside a bunch of sentry guns, and was the only one there, no other engineer at all.
A soldier comes up near me, and boom, shoots a rocket at my face. Retarded. Who in their right mind, would see an engineer by all his sentrys, run up and blast him in the face with a rocket for no reason. Its horseshit.
