I find it funny how you say "not to be a dick" and then go on to coherently explain yourself properly in a coherent and completely reasonable way. Damn Canadians.

but yeah, I agree. Typically music played in clubs is whatever decently popular song that has a catchy, really basic dance beat. I can stand it, but when people listen to mostly that music. It already gets played far too often.

I've seen Animals as Leaders live once; Tosin Abasi is an incredible guitarist. Check out a song that's just a long solo of his, called Wave of Babies:

Yeah, he really blows my mind.

Also I swear I've heard of This town needs guns before. Also this slowdrive almost reminds me of Yes for some reason.

Oh, and I forgot to mention how catchy POS is

I never understood how "club" rap became more popular then this. and another Emmy the great song that I really like.

Picked up Spess Marin for like 17 bucks off of steam, and I feel very guilty now realizing that Thief 1 and 2 are on GOG for 10 bucks each. I've been meaning to play those two for a while.

Also yeah, Aria of Sorrow is probably one of the best Metroidvania games in the series.

There's a massive amount of depth to these games, but I can't see any of it. I've played ball hockey, soccer, and football for fun and never learned a damn thing about the depth of the game. And watching a game of any of these on TV would never help me understand anything about the depths of the game if I listened to the commentary. And thee are games we grow up playing as children and such.

This is pretty agreeable, but you can at least see how much skill the game takes to play from an athletic standpoint. Still, I'll probably keep an eye out for the bigger tournaments (last one I watched was dreamhack maybe?). I usually watch SF streams, but SC is also entertaining.

I know this thread is old, but since this forum is tiny I'll post anyways. I watched the last big tournament they had, but I can never really follow the game since I don't know what it takes to be good at the game. One of the reasons e-sports in general gets held back is because you need to have a deep understanding of a game to fully appreciate it at high play.

Some more shit, someone just posted this on facebook and I'm really glad I gave it an honest listen.

&feature=related

Her songs are pretty simple, but I'm a HUGE sucker for female singers like her.

Also she did a pretty cool cover of where's my mind.

Probably doesn't fit here BUT I bought a ghetto Chinese PS2 controller converter for PC and I installed the "controllers" drivers, yet it remains unrecognized.  Is there a way to link a device to a driver? I can't find where the divers installed, but I assumed they would just work from the get go.

No really, I either got ripped off or I'm doing something wrong.

I just had a wet a dream after not having them for 7+ years. What the fuck.

No, but now I know. Evidently it's the casing of this small fan on my mobo that's been rattling. I've tightened the power corn and used some scotch tape on it and it seems quite for now.

Also while restarting my PC sort of messed up. I had to run my PC with my GPU off to see why the fan was making so much noise, and when I slapped everything together I got the error " Warning! now system is in safe mode. Please reset CPU or memory frequency in the CMOS set up" so I reset my CMOS and it seemed to restart somewhat fine (still had to hit a button to get to landing, but after that it seemed to work fine).

Also I have no idea if combofix got rid of anything (I ran it out of fear basically, and I hadn't done a virus search in a while) and I have no clue what that latency table is saying bobbias.

I wanna overclock :3c

unrelated, but now Chrome won't stop freezing up. It was shockwave that kept crashing, and I googled up a little how to that's supposedly supposed to fix that, but chrome will still freeze up and go unresponsive on me without warning.

Really getting sick of all these PC problems. It's been acting goofy recently and I almost installed a virus that looked like a chrome update. Also chrome has been acting like hell, constantly freezing up now and forcing me to close it, allowing pop ups to happen, showing me tons of adds despite me using ABP. I don't know why either, it used to run completely fine and block almost all adds and pop ups, now it does none of that. I would use FF, but it runs like complete shit all the time for some reason. I ran combofix and it did some things, going to run spybot now just to cover all my bases. Really, is there something big I'm missing that's causing all this stupid stuff to happen?

I also finally ran Latency, I feel like a moron for putting that off for so long, here is a screencap of the results. http://i.imgur.com/y9pAK.jpg

Also I'm never buying another geforce mobo, a tiny fan on mine has its own power cord nick the fan and make the most annoying sound I've ever heard.

Had a BSOD during a short play of Skyrim, googled it and it seems others have had this problem so I hope it's just a Skyrim bug and not something possibly worse.

Also this song is pretty catchy and depressing.

Yeah, you're completely right, developers now a days realize that making a game seem lagless is more important then actually making a game lagless. It's sad really realizing how many people fall for this.

Also rifeling through some steam friends pictures has made me e-peen seem small. Watching people go 90 and 10 in TF2, 48 and 6 in MW3, and like 135 and 25 make me feel like I'm halfway retarded. Gotta up my game in Tribes, SF, and CS.

The hitboxes for COD4 on PC were alright, minus the knifes for some odd reason. As for BC2, I think the bullet pysics are what makes it a bit harder to have competent hit detection. I can remember hitting people in the head with the slug shotgun, seeing blood and hearing the helmet dink (god that sound was satisfying) and they would continue to fight. That and the dozens of times I've ran behind cover only to die to the same enemy shooting at me got annoying. CS:S really depends on your server rate and server choke. I've landed plenty of headshots only to walk away with the enemy completely unwounded. Also don't make me describe knife fights, those almost seem like complete luck in source engine. I rage so hard hearing people say shit like "lag has no impact on knife fights" or that when a server has high choke that I should get a better connection (it makes me die slightly every time I hear that). Also pics, to prove I'm not crazy or a whiny person.
