I had no idea you had your own trans experience. Care to elaborate?

If you look back a few pages you can see a chunk of my experience already. Basically most of 2014 I was confused about my identity and thought I was an mtf trans. I went and did things I would normally never do, going to a therapist, seeing doctors to get hormones, telling irl people about this stuff, started drinking, ACTUALLY GETTING HORMONES, and yeah. I got hormones in December and quit shortly after, it was the thing I needed to figure everything out, and I feel quite comfortable with where I am at right now months after the fact. I still want a more fem look, maybe incorporate some fem clothes into my outfit, but I identify as a male, and have no desire to live as a woman. I just prefer the aesthetic I guess.

But the trans feels went, and immediately brought me to wanting to be in a relationship, so I'd been perusing someone since around November or so online. We were going to meet up like next month or so, they live in California, I'm Michigan, so it's a bit of a trip. Thing is they fucked up and did something to really make me upset, and they know what they did was wrong, which caused me to decide to hang out with my co worker...and now I am with that person.

I ain't saying sex is bad, though it did start off a bit rocky for me, those problems have been ironed out and it's fine now. It's just, it's not the best thing ever, it's damn good, but it aint the best thing ever.

But we pretty much met at work. I know work relationships are taboo, but I don't really work a serious job at the moment and im looking for something with better hours. Anyhow, they've made a comment about their folks being gone for a week and they'll be alone for a week. I live in Michigan, they moved here from California back in...February ish, so they don't have that big of a circle of people yet. I figured we get along, and I'd go over there and hang out.

Basically, I wasn't interested in anything happening, I figured we'd just hang out and talk. They're like trans, ftm, but now they've told me non binary, not identifying as either so to say. So because of that, wasn't really interested in anything romantic happening, but also because of it, we could relate on that level because I've had my own trans experience. So I went over with my n64, we talked while that was being kind of passively played, stayed till 4am...and that sparked another visit the next day, brought my ps2 but mostly just talked, stayed till 6am...which then I figured I'd go over again the next day...It was a Sunday, and I stayed till Wednesday. Nothing happened the entire time, just talking and hanging out, until Sunday. They were going to bed, I was going to leave, they offered for me to stay over so I wouldn't have to drive home...I thought about it...ended up saying fuck it and sleeping there...more talking, I end up with my arm around them...they take my hand towards their breast...and yknow, yadda yadda...now we're where we're at.

It just kinda happened. It's weird going from "not really attracted to this person, but they're cool and we get along" to "holy shit they're gorgeous, I love being around this person" in a pretty short period of time. I do know "new relationship feels, everything's gonna feel perfect, then after a while it slows down and blablabla" but, right now it's going good, trying to take futurey stuff into consideration and squash potential issues as I think of them. Communicating and being as honest as I can to try and avoid any issues in the future. Also like...large age difference between us, right now it's not an issue, but I really don't know how it will affect things in the future. I do not wish to say what it is, but they aren't 21, and I'm quite a bit older than 21...It really makes me feel like the bad guy in a way for whatever reason. Partly due to that, I'm not making any moves myself but following their lead or going with their advances, unless it just comes up in conversation as something we both want to do because then I know it's cool. It's a bit weird to think about when I am away from them, but with them I honestly don't see it being obvious at all. I know my place, and my entire goal is to make this person as comfortable as I can. I want to say I've done a damn good job of it so far, because of the feedback I have gotten, but I just really really really really don't want to cause any drama at all. If there's a problem, we can talk and be civil, and solve it. Just trying to lay down this baseline "it's ok if you don't like something or want to do something, we can talk about it and there won't be a problem" type of vibe. Because I figure if we can't talk about something, there's just going to be problems down the line, and I don't want that.

So, like, it's been cool so far. Trying to think about things to do outside of our residences, going out, movies, dinner, whatever. It's really nice. I haven't felt this good in probably over a decade now. I've literally never felt so comfortable around someone in my entire life. Where we can fuck, and afterwards, just joke around and laugh about whatever. It just damn nice, I don't need to pretend to be someone else, we can just joke around and whatever and it's ok.

*edit*

Idk how I make big tldr posts when I drink, but I do. At least my drinking has gone down a lot.

Been a long damn time, but I got me a partner. It's a weird feeling, honestly has been a super long time. Sex is like, way less important than society tells me it is. Why do they do this? Now laying on the couch together and just talking about whatever bullshit, for some reason, that's just the best part for me.

But idk, I'm an old fucker who's been away from this stuff for too long. New experience to me anyway.

Recently got pokemon omega ruby (the only pokemon game i got the "first" version of, prior was like blue, silver, sapphire, pearl, white, ect), it's pretty neat since the last game I invested real time into was pearl. Not sure how long i'll play before I lose interest (im really only 40 minutes in) but if I want to beat the elite 4 on gen 3 (something I haven't done) this is the place to do it I suppose.

Well apparently the answer to the underline, about 8 days later, is 25 hours. Elite 4 beat, I am the champion of all the pokeymans! I really didn't expect to play more than like 2-3 hours when I made that post.

As for the delta episode post game stuff...ehh, maybe another time. Not sure if I'll open up my still shrinkwrapped copy of pokemon Y, or play something else for the time being. It was a pretty good time though, been a long goddamn time since ive sat down and ENJOYED a pokemon game. I mean I got through gen 4, but I really had to force it, I didn't enjoy it at all. Like literally I think it was gen 2, because even gen 3 at the time wasn't really doing it for me. I guess pokemon isn't dead for me afterall, I just needed a FIFTEEN YEAR BREAK!

There's a lot of issues with the story in mass effect 3, but the thing that annoys me the most is that damn kid. You play as commander Shepard, you have murdered thousands of people, and watched thousands more die, how is the death of one random kid mean any more than the other 10,000? It's just kind of pointless and shouldn't be in there.

Plus like yknow...the ending...maybe you don't know, but you will...it's just...yeah...

Multiplayer was great though, im going to defend that bitch forever. It's just a silly mode that doesn't need to adhere to story, since you can play as pretty much most of the races in the mass effect universe.

Want to be a collector? GO AHEAD! I would totally play more if I didn't need to put down more money for xbox live gold, I have it on pc, but frankly I hate the controls on pc and all of my unlocks are on 360 anyway.

I don't know if I would call what bioware did to mass effect 2, as "dumbing down", do you mean the stat/skill system?

In mass effect 1, you can put a point into shotguns, THIS ONE POINT ADDS LIKE 1% DAMAGE TO SHOTGUNS...yay? More like fucking boring, at least in 2, each point feels more significant with the final point being even more important. Plus all different versions of a weapon type are the exact same, in 2, and 3, there are different shotguns that FEEL DIFFERENT, in 1, they just have different damage values. If anything they made acquiring new weapons and leveling up more exciting in 2 and 3. Before you say I am biased against 1, 1 is my favorite game in the trilolgy, and one of my favorite games of all time, but it is a flawed game and I can't deny that. Excuse me if I implied what you said incorrectly though, but that's typically what people mean when they say bioware dumbed down the later games...

...as for mass effect 3, if you want to ignore some of the stupid things they did to the story, it has BY FAR the best most enjoyable combat in the trilogy. I probably put over 240 hours into the online multiplayer alone. It's a lot more active of a game, where me2 you were a lot more rooted to cover. I look forward to what they do to the multiplayer in the next mass effect game, because, it was enough of a success to where it will be in the next mass effect game.

For my pokeymans action, im closing in on the 4th gym. The last time I enjoyed a pokemon game as I am now was like...pokemon silver on the gbc...long time ago.

All I hear about destiny is that it lacks content, but my boss seems to really enjoy it despite that. I have no opinion due to no current gen consoles.

Got my season 3 wizard to paragon 222, and consensus is, I don't like wizard. I think I'll avoid the game until season 4. I guess next week on the 26th the ladder reset for diablo 2 is happening, so it may be an excuse for me to play that again.

Besides that, just been playing more super street fighter 2 turbo recently. Been mucking about with my Zangief, and trying to improve my Dictator play. Every time I land a touch of death combo with Dictator, I just want to practice more and more so it becomes a common thing. I really don't think the game will ever get old or boring to me, i've been playing it since 2009 and I'm still learning new things. Definitely my favorite game of all time at this point. I wish more people were into fightans so I would have a bigger pool of people to play with.

Arch0wl feels like a distant memory at this time. Didn't the site die like 10 years ago to like this month?

Yes it is. 2009 chevy aveo. Though not sure if im lucky, I had to spend more than $600 on new struts so far, buying used cars is a bitch. I'm not a goddamn mechanic, but either way, wasn't any used cars that could compete with that one, and it's been going well so far.

It's so much nicer than...

This fuckin old silhouette ive been driving for the past 10 years. That damage on the side was from the LAST GODDAMN SNOW OF THE YEAR early march. Going down the decline of a bridge too fast, by too fast, I mean 10 under the speed limit, when i shoulda been going 25 under the speed limit. Lost control of the vehicle when I was trying to slow down. Not a fun time, but, I needed a new car since 2013 so at least this forced that into happening.

I have been postponing this for too long, but, I got a "new" car.

Small, but affordable, and 6'1.5" me can fit in it just fine, it's nice. My old minivan is just too old and too unsafe to drive, but I got 10 years out of it.

Sadly I pretty much only play solo. It's a good play anytime "turn my mind off" type of game. I hit 70 on the season 3 then kinda dropped off, I don't think wizard is for me, even though they are very strong this season.

Either way season 3 would be a bit short lived, mortal kombat x came out, and after a few days, it works on pc. No real strong opinion on it yet, it's a bit too soon to tell, but the overall vibes are positive on it. I have a few nitpicks, like I hate how the mortal kombat games show button inputs. It's a 5 button game, front/back punch, front/back kick, block. What do they say that front punch is? On xbox controllers (im using xbox stick) they don't call it front punch, they call it, X, the default button it's mapped too. Since I use a stick, I had to remap it to work on said stick, so my front punch is on the Y button, but they don't change the icons and shit to compensate for this. So when they tell me to do a move that uses front punch, they tell me to press the X button, when it's mapped on the Y button for me. WHY THEY DONT JUST SAY FRONT PUNCH, OR EVEN A SIMPLE FP, OR HOW THE COMMUNITY JUST SAYS, 1, I DON'T KNOW. I know it's a small issue, and really, it's not a deal breaker, it's just annoying. I know netherrealm listens to the community, so I don't know why they havent picked up the slang for the game. People use tekken terminology when talking about mortal kombat. It's pretty much the same in tekken as mortal kombat, one number for each limb. 1, 2, 3, 4, EASY. So say Jax ground pound, down down B in xbox, down down circle on playstation, or just fuckin down down 4 universally using the tekken terminology. Then you have the playstation version, so what does X even mean when someone is talking about the game to someone else? X is front punch on the xbox version, but X is front kick on the playstation version, it's not universal, and it's dumb.

That aside, it's a damn good looking game, and it looks like netherrealm put a lot of work into it. No idea if I will stick with it, but it's been fun so far. No clue what character I want to stick with, right now im looking at Jax, but Quan Chi is a strong contender.

I...still...play....diablo...

It's a very on and off game. New patch, get hype, play for 1-2 weeks, drop off. Another new patch, new interest, cycle begins again.

They changed a lot of things, and initially my witchdoctor was weaker due to said changes, but after spending a day to gear properly, i went from greater rift 33, to greater rift 40. This picture shows how significant that is. Torment 6 feels as easy as normal difficulty at my current state. I blanket the screen in darts, and I turned the game into a bullet hell shooter. "every time i shoot a poison dart, all my fetishes do, and i have 23"

Months later, I kinda feel silly about this whole trans thing. I think it ran its course, just wish it didn't last like 8 months. Being in a trans circle like erryday was a really dumb idea, even though i thought i needed it at the time, did more harm than good.

On another topic, I've been trying beers, a lot of "nope, nope, nope, nope, nope" but I think I found my niche in stouts/porters. Started with a beverage called founders porter, now I just want more. Damn good stuff.

I don't know how you tolerate the ganking. I had my fill, and I don't know how I put up with it for so long.

And Ive been playing diablo 3 again...they had a new patch which sparked some interest. Witchdoctor didn't get much change, but monk got major changes with their set so I've been trying to re gear since the gear required is pretty different now. Been doing t6 rifts and gambling all blood shards on alts, was able to get my crusader to t6 off blood shards alone...which means I have wizard, and barbarian to gear next. BARB, I HOPE YOU LIKE BLOOD SHARDS!
