Just got done watching AMV Hell 5..I have to say it redeems the series after the folly of 4.

On the bright side, at least it shouldn't be hellaciously hot down there when you go.
How long do you have to stay in Texas?
Wound up getting promoted to permanent full-time before I even started, getting myself a substantial wage increase and benefits.Very very nice. Full of win my friend
Fuckin' A.
Got...another raise? :V
Went from $9 to $10 an hour in three raises over the course of about two months. Hot damn?
Also, vacation next week! Currently no plans to go anywhere, but it's nice to have a paid week off.
I got a job interview already lined up. Woohoo!
The thing is, controllers should not have a high current draw. Alkaline cells should work far better than Li-Ions or NiMH batteries in that sort of use. In the Xbox 360 controller, for example, using alkaline AA batteries will last twice as long as a Li-Ion battery pack will. The PS3 controller uses an internal Li-Ion pack and it doesn't last nearly long as a Xbox 360 controller with alkaline AAs.How that is possible I don't even know but yeah that is all kinds of fail.
If Li-Ion or NiMH batteries last longer in the Wiimote than alkalines, Nintendo is doing something horribly, horrible wrong. Controllers simply should not have that high of a current draw. If they do, using alkalines shouldn't even be an option.
There are other signs to indicate that Nintendo is doing something horribly, horribly wrong even aside from that. Wiimotes do a good job of draining batteries even when they're off.
