i can't judge the higher level stuff. but as a game, i have been playing it, and been having a lot of fun with it.
get a guild of a bunch of good people, and have fun.

i am rank 8, in the tier 2 open pvp area...fighting level 20's with my guild, getting renown exp, and some fair standard exp.
yeah, this game lets you do that.
like im not even worried about "omg gotta level" i can just go out and pvp, and get exp for doing it, its great.
and to explain, there are 3 worlds per say. elves v dark elves, greenskins v dwarves, humans v chaos. each area has 4 tiers, 1234. t1 is levels 1-10, t2, 10-20...you get it. so im level 8, in tier 2, having a good time.

no, chaos is its own faction. basically the equivilant of "dark elves" to humans, only instead of emo, they are like evil or something.

yes, get to your wartown, warbase or whatever its called (I JUST STARTED PLAYING) and theres a flight guy. click him and you can go to the other places.

also, deleted the ironbreaker and rerolled rune priest.
the ironbreaker is a good class, but im more of a support character kind of guy.

red eye mountain, its a core server
there is no pve or pvp servers
core and open, they aren't and more pvp than the other, they just do it differently. my guild felt (and i agree) that core gives the players more freedom, and thus, core server.
by the way, if you are hardcore into pve, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME AT ALL.
its catered for the pvp, and it does the pvp great. there's endgame pve instances, but you have to kick lots and lots of ass in pvp just to open them.

i guess i can explain
core = each area has a "pvp lake" a zone of the area which has battlefield objectives, keeps, and you are flagged for pvp. when not in the lake, you aren't force flagged for pvp. the "pvp lake" gets bigger and bigger as you advance into higher tiers, to the point where most of the zone is pvp at tier 4.
open = you are autoflagged everywhere
why is core attractive? when you are too high level for a tier, you are turned into a chicken apon entering the pvp zone, you have 1hp as a chicken. this prevents high levels from ganking low levels. so if there was something you wanted to finish up in a pve area of a lower tier, you can't do it on an open server.

destruction has pretty much every t2 keep, and in order to get your t2+ renown gear, you need to get it from a vendor at a keep...so you must venture into the pvp zone and take one.
we took 13 people, split the groups, took both objectives at the same time, then raided the keep. lots of healing, good tanks, PEW PEW, new gear get.

(note, level isn't too important, you can be a level 10, helping out a bunch of level 17's to take a t2 keep, because when you are in the zone, your stats are buffed to level 18)

Wow, that's a pretty intense anti-ganking system. I like it. Too bad I'm not very into PvP :/

I honestly thought it was spelt Dwarf for singular, and dwarves for plural. Hell, even my spell check changes it to Dwarf.

Well, do you say "knives" or "knifes" ? Honestly, I think it's pretty stupid to make the proper spelling "Dwarfs." -fs just doesn't flow very well.
I think I do prefer Ork/Orkz better than Orc/Orcs though.

It wood seam that you're rank iz hier than your renoun...I'm assuming that could be good but I may be rong

till rank 40, your renown rank is capped at your rank (ex, if you are rank 6, you can't exceed renown rank 6). at rank 40, your renown rank can go up past 40, up to a cap of 80.
also the stats on the site do not include tactics, self buffs, and set bonuses. i have over 700 willpower, and around 1100 armor.
also, for soloing, rune of burning fucks stuff up (and in rvr, healers can dps while throwing out heals, its kosher) and its nice to not be "OMFG SOLO GIMP BEKAZ IM HEAL KLASS", every class it seems can EASILY solo mobs 2-4 levels higher, mine included.

WoW is the pve game, WAR is the pvp game.
i enjoy killing other players for any amount of time i like (from 10 minutes to 5 hours with no commitment) rather than sitting in instance #24 for "insert 1-3 hours here" for a chance to get my loot which someone else will win the roll on.
both games are good, just cater to different players.
also, i have a WoW addicted friend i may sell the gamecard to for $20-25. he saves money, and i gain money.
