im not a big fan of space marines in terms of playing them in the game, but the lore and whatnot about them is quite awesome. kind of like protoss in starcraft for me.

I have that exact same image along with a few similar ones saved on here, and I agree. I love how brutal, ornamental, and jesus like they make EVERYTHING.
Hopefully they make that 3rd person action game about the Ultra Marines good, I'm tierd of people thinking MC is a good example of cool looking armor and superhuman military people.

correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure a space marine could easily take on several spartains. that and another thing i like about space marines, they are humans depicted as INCREDIBLY POWERFUL BEINGS, which is a departure from "they are versitile, or they have the human spirit, or some other bullshit". don't mention the imperial guard, as it goes back to the previous point to a smaller extent(since they pretty much are regular humans and not super humanly mutated human beings who can breathe underwater and in hazardous conditions, live for hundreds of years, super strong, ect).

With an average weapon load out for both? I'd assume so. I don't know a ton about 40k, and I do know Spartans can flip tanks (yet not punch an enemy slightly bigger then them across the fucking room) but a bolter fires a shot that's about the size of a grenade, and it's fully automatic.
If it was a Grey Knight? Yes they'd never stand a chance.

my "overall" score is less impressive. i mean, i play ranked matches to get quick games, i really only play to have fun. i mean, im not afraid to whip out a character i utterly suck with in hopes of learning him, shit like that gives me losses in my overall rank, but whatever. it beats player matches with people who don't use mics, waiting for your turn to fight, that's kind of boring. player matches are REALLY FUN WHEN PEOPLE HAVE MICS and talking about the matches and having a jolly ole time, but without mics...id rather do ranked matches, it's quicker, and i can play more games that way.

course my dorf sexed her anyway because those two dwarf wenches at the start of the game one of which he impregnated, and those two helpless animals at the inn...and morrigan to make her demonbaby, and probably somebody else i forgot, just wasn't enough.
while on the topic of dragon age, i really have no desire to ever play it again, or even play the expansion. i beat that game, it was a 55 hour endurance run, it was awesome, it was challenging (downright GAY at parts), and finishing a game of that magnitude, i no longer want any more. i will highly recommend it, it's one of the best rpg's i have ever played, i can even understand people calling it replayable, but not for me, i got all i wanted out of this sucker in one playthrough.
anyway is it me or does the cg posted above look similar to tara reid?

yeah, i got attuned for onyxia in lbrs, from a hunter tanking with no pet, using the zin rokh 2h sword. figure the healer would hate that, but it was the smoothest lbrs i ever ran, and i healed said run. the last boss of lbrs kind of one shotted him though...we still pulled through.
if only i could enjoy the game like i did in vanilla, ain't going to happen, but good times were had and it's nice to remember said times.

I've got a friend who does wrestling in a small town league here, as well as back yard wrestling with a bunch of other crazy fucks. Sure, it's fake, but when you see someone thrown or something (suplex, etc. etc. etc.) they are still risking being injured. The fake parts about wrestling are:
A) The match has been choreographed from the beginning, and the outcome is already decided.
B) The moves that you see are specifically done in such a way that the person on the receiving end will be able to land it safely, while maintaining the illusion of actually landing badly.
Wrestlers ARE athletes, and have to have a lot of training to properly land those moves. If you don't land correctly you can be SEVERELY injured.

potemkin is a primary reason why i would have a desire to play guilty gear. this fucker is awesome. he's huge, powerful, and like zangief, not a "generic bad person who just destroys people". zangief is all about his country and doing good for the children, don't know much about potemkin save for him being a fucking BAKER. yeah, that's pretty tits.

I disagree with your opinion, but I can dig it.
Also Potemkin is basically a good guy, story wise. He was protecting Dizzy for a while and helped freed his nation. The giant vest he wears (not shown there) is a bomb vest used to control him when he was a slave, and the giant things on his fists limit his strength (his instant kill is him breaking them and punching the enemy once to kill them). There are too many characters in GG that do that whole "power limiting" thing (I guess Sol and Slayer have a reason to, but still).

so i slimmed this post down because i bought a figure. then 10 minutes later both decided i didn't like the quality AND i don't got the money(well i do, but im trying to not spend my paycheck as i get them, even if i have a nice chunk of expendable change). probably end up getting another vidya figure down the line. i mean i just bought peace walker, and puzzle quest 2 is next week. SHOULDN'T BE SO LOOSE WITH MY MONEY! so i canceled the order, and this post would have been TEE HEE FUNNY but now it's not :(

the world wants me to not spend my money on random crap, and while i appreciate the effort, ima keep looking for something to accompany my troll, draenei, and buddahs. but if i want it, it's usually too late and ill have to spend way too much money on ebay to get it. don't even think i can find the pear on ebay, but the original price is like $20.00 so i mean it's not a costly thing.

...and the blatant fanservice, yes, the blatant as grass is green and the sky is blue fanservice.
i would discuss the character in terms of how she is in the game to use, but that would be more for the whatchu playing thread. but my opinion thus far, pretty fun with a bit of a learning curve on getting her drive timed properly, consistently. im too inexperienced at blazblue as a whole to comment more than that.

i don't know how to turn flash off on my camera, so i took like 10 pictures and picked out the least flashfucked one.

think that picture shows off the quality of the figure. but yeah, it came in today, there's another arm/hand part (you can kind of see where the hand holding the sword can disconnect near the shoulder) and im retarded and couldn't figure out which part to use for the sword in scabbard pose rather than the sword out of scabbard pose. after looking at the instruction paper thing (it's all in ching chong, but it's illustrated pretty good) i realized i was a dumbass and got it put together. so that sword is fully there, and the scabbard is separate, so like i said earlier, there's two ways you can have the thing situated.
