Title: Ian's Wild, Wacky Computer Parts Sale
Post by: Spectere on August 11, 2010, 06:28:53 PM
I just ordered an upgrade for my computer and decided to do something that I've never done before: I'm going to sell my old hardware.  I have too many systems as it is, so building up another one would just be silly.

The components that I'm going to be selling are as follows:

My asking price is $300.  That would basically like buying the mobo and CPU and getting memory and a nice heatsink/fan for free.  Of course, all parts are in working order.  The CPU has been tested quite thoroughly, and everything has been extensively cleaned recently.  If shipping costs are excessive, I'll probably ask for a little extra to cover the costs.

Thermal paste will not be provided.  If you are interested in buying this from me, I suggest ordering a tube of Arctic Silver (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007&cm_re=arctic_silver-_-35-100-007-_-Product).  Due to its size, the Zalman cooler will not be shipped attached to the motherboard.  I'll leave the mounting brackets in place so that the only thing you should have to do is screw it in.

If anyone is interested, please PM me or fire me an e-mail at spectere <at> gmail <dot> com.

Tempting.  Getting my first paycheck next Friday, I'll see around how much I'm getting on it tomorrow and check how much is in my checking account too.  Also, I don't have a paypal or anything at the moment, I should get one of those or something

If nobody grabs those before I get my first paycheck from my co-op (If I get one :/) I may look at those. Been meaning to upgrade the new severely outdated tower my brother's been using.

I believe I might have these parts sold as of today (err, yesterday, technically).  Just a heads up.
