Gaming / Good PS2 RPGs

I haven't been buying any ps2 games so now it's time. Tell me a good RPG. And don't just say like, Xenosaga. I'm sick of only hearing about that game. No Final Fantasy either. Everybody already knows those games. Surely there are more PS2 RPGs than these?

Computing / MIDI and Sound Cards

How do sound cards effect sound behavior of the computer? I have an idea but I'm not sure. Can you get sound cards that dont have shitty MIDI sounds? Do sound cards effect the amount of frequencies of sound the computer can process?
