Absolute bullshit, cops go on with.

Long story short, went out to have drinks with some friends, had a DD (Designated driver) and someone wanted me to demo my stereo. (Which I'm more than happy to do, cause I take pride in my car audio)
Showed the system, owner of the pub didn't like it and called the cops. Cops came, and told me to take a breathalyzer. Of course I wont pass it, because I'm at a fucking bar, drinking with friends and I have a DD. They claim it as "Because I was sitting in the front seat of my car (While giving a demo of my stereo), they consider it a DUI. Yet...My car is parked, in a parking lot, without the engine running, while I demo my stereo.
So, went through court bullshit, judge saw how bullshit the charges were and withdrew everything. Dumbest part. I still had to pay the $500 for impound fees, and 800 fucking dollars to reinstate my license. For something I DIDN'T FUCKING DO. Absolute fucking bullshit. The laws and the judicial system are absolutely fucked. I tried for WEEKS to fix everything and prove to them I shouldn't  be penalized for something I didn't do, but alas, I still had to pay $1200 to get my license and driving privileges  back, for a crime I didn't commit. All because the cop wanted to pull a heavy on me and be a piece of shit. Fuck this country and these stupid fucking "laws". Nothing more than a cash grab. Beyond annoying.

That is horrible. What a piece of shit. Our local news here in Altanta broke a story on a cop who pulls similar bullshit that despite being innocent cost citizens time and money. Like when they destroyed this guys home to get a shoplifter and the resident got zero assistance for the damage. It's disgusting.

Don't a lot of FedEx drivers basically own their own routes via independent contracting? Sounds like you've just got someone who's total ass at their job. Would be nice to catch him upon delivery and inquire wtf is the deal with the repeat BS.

I FINALLY got a Nintendo Switch. Actually got it in August just getting around to posting about my elation.

I started looking for a Switch in March for wife bday gift. Turned into a saga of disappointment over the summer. On weekends when I wasn't working I would go into stores early hoping to get one, always sold out. I had zoolerts set up to text and e-mail me when a switch goes up for sale, but still wasn't fast enough.

I discovered around 2AM during the week usually Tuesday or Thursday I would start getting best buy zoolerts, so I started sitting at my computer hitting refresh over and over until they would go up for sale. Even doing that which was going about as fast as I could possibly go, occasionally I would actually get one to add to my cart, but when I hit checkout it would give me a message they were sorry but product no unavailable. I did this for 3 months straight every week I shit you not.

Finally in first week of August I actually land one on Best Buy and make it through the checkout around 2AM. I finally fuckin did it. Then, not even a week later, Switches went up in droves and stayed in stock for like 2 days. Was kind of a slap in the face after all my hard work but at same time I ended up getting a 2nd switch for myself while the getting was good.

Anyway I'm way more addicted to Animal Crossing than I should be. I also discovered I'm shit at Smash Bros some of these guys online are just insane. Haven't really played much since Brawl but so far this has been a great title.

Double posting because why the fuck not.

If y'all are into the vaporwave AESTHETICS, worth checking out. TAD BIT PRICEY HOWEVER...but tempted to put together an entire outfit...

"shoes run small so order a size up"
, no us size 13...RIP bigfoot (me)

Usually I'm a black on black on black on black kinda guy but my wife loves this stuff. Also a size 13 I feel your pain.

You're reading way too much into my post.

Kinda my MO. Ban yet plz?

Not sure why you're bringing up GTA, but each game is a different story, and the reason GTA Online is so goddamn awful largely stems from the fact that Rockstar's net code has been consistently crap since at least GTA4.

One of the main tenets of writing net code is to trust the client as little as possible, but Rockstar doesn't seem to be aware of that. If I were to join a Quake (as in, 1995 Quake) with mods enabled, the server would pretty much boot me right away. GTA Online has weaker mod protection than Quake does, and the server trusts the client far more. From what I've read, if your client tells the server that you have X weapon, it'll just believe you.

In addition to this, the game seems to completely fail to validate any of the game's files on the PC version. There is absolutely no reason why the mod menu should even work in GTA Online, but it does. If Rockstar gave even the slightest fuck about security instead of just blindly trusting the platform to do it, it would autokick anyone running a modified client, and they sure as hell wouldn't let anyone modify the amount of cash they have in their account.

Because I felt like this was a perfect example of what I believe, that  PC is absolutely 1000x worse than consoles in terms of cheating. I got what you were saying about why console is just as vulnerable, but the fact of the matter is consoles just don't have cheaters even remotely comparable to PC gaming. All my experiences with cheating on PC almost never translates to consoles. Glitches are one thing but flat out cheating is barely a comparison. PC is just awful.

The fact other players in GTA Online PC can literally boot me out of a lobby if they want is insane to me. You kind of already expressed what I assumed that Rockstar seems to give little to no shits about their security. It's the wild west out there on PC for GTA and I did not, and still don't have the slightest bit of guilt for having erroneous funds added to my account. It felt like a well deserved fuck you to Rockstar. Then I went and paid for a console copy anyway because I wanted that legitimate experience, which I have now. I can actually grind with my friends and have a good time. Nobody is invincible and safe from karma on console. It's just a far superior experience on PS4. I could say the same for Battlefield 1, which I was super upset about quitting on PC. I really loved that game. I have so many videos of spectating cheaters on that game and the funny thing is DICE/EA won't even accept video proof I discovered. Origin overlay reporting is the only recourse.

Anyway, I do appreciate your well articulated explanation. It's just incredibly frustrating as someone who plays FPS genre games more than anything. In all my years on console when I finally moved to PC in 2012 it was a whole new realm of cheating I hadn't experienced, and it kills me to pay money for these games only to have some jackass 13 year old spend $15 on moms credit card to ruin my experience and make me feel like I've wasted my $60 that I work hard for. Know what I mean?

Probably the most laymen explanation I've ever gotten, though I noticed your insinuation that I'm saying people are cheating that aren't because they may be more "twitchy" on PC. I'm pretty skilled on PC I know what's up and I spectate.

I'm aware you can cheat on consoles but why then have I been playing GTA online on both PS4 and PC and NEVER see cheaters like literally ever on GTA online for PS4, but PC you can't go into a lobby without cheaters? For the record, I paid to have my GTA account modded on PC with additional cash. No cheat menu just cash. For the express reason I couldn't grind because of the constant cheaters ruining my ability to complete jobs. Literally the if you can't beat em join em moment I never thought I would have. First and only game I've ever cheated with.

creating cheat-proof online games is pretty much impossible

Can you elaborate on that? I ended up buying a PS4 literally just because I'm such a PVP intensive gamer and got sick and tired of PC cheaters in every game I played. It drives me insane because I would MUCH rather be playing at 144hz you know what I mean? I always wonder why such massive developers like Activision/Infinity Ward and Bungie can't seem to stop cheaters no matter what they do. It took all of like 1 weeks for cheaters to find a way around the Warzone 2 step feature they added to new accounts.

I started playing Destiny 2 again. My plan is to clear the current story content before it gets vaulted, then jump into Beyond Light when it comes out.

Good luck. Really hate how much money we've dumped into that game at this point. My history with it is long and complicated now. They've essentially fashioned it to where you HAVE to keep playing for your gear to stay relevant. The potential for that game is so good. They just fucked up way too much along the way. In the end it was more Crucible cheaters using wall hacks and aimbot that made me quit aside from the other shit.

Edit: After a quick google search, I see nothing has changed either.

That's super cool. My wife has been watching a Youtube Channel lately where this Korean gal custom designs keys using resin/UV. Looks like it could be a lot of fun albeit a bit of a pain in the ass.

How has the bike been working out? I'm thinking about doing the same now I see a lot of cyclists in my area. Couldn't tell you last time I got on a bike but it seems like a more fun way to get the exercise I need.

I put this up on my Facebook a while ago showing people how I make my tender fall offf the bone, better than you can get in a restaurant ribs. I promise you these are the best ribs you have ever made in your life.

Ian, you may know Blue Wolf Tavern. That's where I learned to use this method used to work there back in 2006-2007ish.

I've been in the south 10 years now and still haven't had better ribs than this. Promise you, you will turn heads if you make this for friends and family.

I honestly didn't realize you were younger than me, haha. I was just starting college around then, and DDR took me from 250lbs to 195 just after I left high school (and I weighed in at 282 last week…ugh). That still stands as the only time someone recognized me IRL from a picture I posted on a forum, y'know. :P

I'm pretty sure I was 19 when we met my senior year or right after graduation. I repeated a grade and have a November bday so I was already older than most of the class before I got held back graduated 2005 at 19. Yeah that was pretty crazy you and Jared were almost like DDR celebrities to me lol I aspired to be that skillful. I had to bar rape everything. Every time I'd go to Southern Park Mall or Camelot I'd hope to run into one of you guys.

I wish we would have hung out more while you were still up here. I was pretty bad at keeping in touch with people around then (that "oh, I don't want to bother them" mentality, coupled with self-esteem issues) and wish I would have been able to overcome that sooner.

That was a really weird time for me too honestly, though I'm sure we would have had some good times. I at least still had a decent D&D group at that time. However I was also just starting to get into partying having sex experimenting with drugs etc around 19-20. Having lost all that weight and feeling confident in myself about it I was actually really getting serious with girls for the first time in my life. Had a 5 years spree of really dumb decisions and finding out who I was as a person. Had some bad friends that were terrible influences I used to hold in high regard just by being a bit naive. I probably wouldn't have been the greatest friend anyway.

Just know if you're ever in Atlanta you got a place to stay. My 330 trips are far and few between anymore but I definitely wanna at least hang out for a bit next time I get up there. I do remember meeting your parents they were super cool folks.

I've gained roughly 70lbs over the last 5 years. Wife and my lifestyle is pretty much shit.

Was always a fat kid/guy nearing 300lbs by the time I was 15. I lost 100lbs my junior year (right about when I met you Ian. DDR played a factor in that). Was a bit of a back and forth but mostly stable over the years until I ruptured 2 discs in my back. Happened almost 4 years ago during a workout. Pretty sure my profile photo here is last time I was consistently working out and eating good. Been pretty much down hill ever since. Was scared to workout for a long time afterwards and now I'm just so out of shape it's intimidating. With no female to impress as my tried and true motivating factor in the past, I've damn near accepted this as me but I know I'm not really happy with myself.

Obviously with my prior weight loss I know what to do and how to do it, I have just been so "comfortable" in my ez pz cavalier do whatever I want eat whatever I want when I want lifestyle, I'm on a crash course in the future.

Also MFP used to be my shit when I was actually keeping track of macros and what not. I'll add you I should just be Zephlar on there.

Need a boot in my ass fellas.

Bobbias I'm really sorry, that's horrible. I hope your dad is gonna be ok. Try to take care of yourself can understand why you're feeling so sick, but get yourself some nutrition. Don't wanna add one more issue to the growing list.

Not a religious person but putting some positive vibes your way homie. Been watching a lot of people I know go through hard times seems like everything is going wrong everywhere. My best friend has all but lost the small business he's worked so hard for over a decade to achieve. He's already lost 150k this year in contracts. He's gonna have to move back to Youngstown and work his old job siding houses for a while.

Hang in there.

I would consider the red pepper oil NOT optional XD

I am never without sesame oil in the pantry. Sounds delicious I am going to try it. Do you ever use corn starch in the sauce?
