The dlc's any good? I noticed some of the first ones just added stuff for the custom towns (imo the worst feature in the game that i rarely engaged with), so I kind of stopped playing whenever I made my last post.

Anything meaningful added? I liked the game, but it's lack of content made me stop playing out of nothing to do after 45 hours.

Probably the most thin bethesda game I can think of outside of maybe the first elder scrolls game.

I try not to hipster with it, because while I love me some craft, macro has its place. Like if im having dinner, I'd take a macro lager over an imperial stout, and imperial stout is my favorite style. I love stouts, but I prefer to drink em on their own as is, there's better beers that go with food, like...probably any other style.

The only thing I don't really like is light beer, because the demographic for light beer is...people who don't like beer. Shit I will buy a milwaukees best ice and enjoy it, but I do not understand how someone can enjoy bud/miller lite. Even if it means budweiser/miller high life, not high quality beers, but at least they have flavor.

Drinking Lagunitas Hop Stoopid as I type this. Cheap 22oz bomber of piney hop resin goodness.

>tfw drink two craft beers and it has the abv of drinking a 6 pack of bud light

I seen this at the grocery store and I COULD NOT RESIST

5 liter keg of bells oberon, only $19.00. And after it gets consumed, I'll have this neat keg with cool art on it. To be honest, the art is the majority reason I bought it, but oberon is damn good beer so that's a bonus.

Have a friend probably coming over tomorrow after work, going to help assist me double team that monster while we play vidya.

I feel like I'm so behind on the rhythm game front. My skill at stepmania and IIDX is only a fraction of what it used to be. Stuff that I used to AA, I literally can't even pass anymore.

If only IIDX games were released on modern consoles, with the age of easy access to foreign digital storefronts.

Anyway, fightans have pretty much completely replaced rhythm games for me now a days.

(ohh and with the announcement of civ vi, ive been playing a random assortment of civ v, revolution, and beyond earth)

I had a friend over from toronto area some 5 weeks ago, and she made me thankful for what I have over here.

I buy beer at my local grocery store, which has a decent selection of singles for craft beer. You guys have to go to overpriced liquor stores. But I believe it depends on the state, utah is basically canada, and the south has religion to restrict alcohol a bit.

I forgot I said that stuff, but right now im pretty comfortable with who I am. Ain't trans, but I would like to find a way to rock leggings in public without it being indecent. Haven't found the right top to cover muh man parts yet. Dat aesthetic yo!

And I think I may be a beer nut. I need to try new beer all the time, when I'm in the store, I am compelled to buy a beer I haven't tried before, and I prefer it to buying what I am familiar with. I no longer care what style it is, before it was just stouts/porters, now, I don't care. Craft or macro, ipa, stout, pilsner, saison, I DONT CARE I JUST WANNA DRINK IT. If I don't like a style, I'll drink as many different beers of that style I can get my hands on until I understand it. I didn't like ipa's, drank over 20 different kinds...now I love them, it took a year, but I warmed up to the style. It's almost to the point where I would call beer as one of my "hobbies", because I read about it and examine it more than just a random beverage I would consume and forget about.

Iunno, it's fun. There's SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHH GODDAMN VARIETY with beer, it's insane. It's sad to think people think of beer as just bud/miller/coors light and nothing more, because there's so much more to beer than flavorless carbonated soda water.  Drink an ipa, then an imperial stout, and a saison, an ice beer, then maybe a wytchwood hobgoblin and try and tell me they all taste similar, because they don't. Ohh and all of this is me not giving a shit about alcohol content, I do not drink beer to get drunk or even "buzzed" I simply enjoy the taste and variety of what the beverage has to offer. I do not drink for the affects of alcohol, only for the taste, anymore, now a days.

Well uhh since it's been a few months...

Got rebel galaxy and got the best ship/upgrades, still haven't beaten it, but it's a pretty fun/simple space game.

Been playing through pokemon Y since my partner has been playing through pokemon white, after we both finish em we're diving into the VC releases of red/blue. Being as im the one behind, she's got through white already and im only 7 badges in Y, gotta step my shit up so we can get on the original games train!

Ohh and street fighter 5 came out, you probably know how I feel about it, so...It's a good game, would recommend it for people interested in playing a fighting game as it's meant to be played, AGAINST OTHER HUMAN PLAYERS. If you want content that doesn't involve other human players...play something else, that's not really what fighting games are about anyway.

Originally took a liking to birdie and bison...now not enjoying bison as much, so been putting my focus on ken with birdie as my backup man...

...until...

Coming "late" this month, meaning, probably a day or less from May.

OHH, and I beat deus ex...again...73 hours on steam...

andandand I played the weekend beta for overwatch, then preordered after seeing my aging pc can run it just fine. It's just team fortress 3, but it's been a while since ive played a game like that, and im a dirty blizzard fan.

*edit*

I guess i'll edit again since dead thread.

Beat pokemon Y, beat pokemon red, REALLY enjoyed playing red, aged well.

Played some guile, I like him, but I can't fireball. Playing alex and enjoying it a lot.

Back Pain.

I went to a walk in clinic yesterday, and the ER today since nothing got better and I'd like to be able to work.

They gave me cyclobenzaprine, narproxen yesterday, and they gave me valium and hydrocodon (vicodin), today.

I don't like popping pills, but goddamnit, I want to be able to do regular people stuff like, standing up without being in agony, or walking without falling down from pain, or iunno, sit in a chair without pain.

Both the clinic and the ER people didn't give me a clearcut answer as to what the issue was, but both didn't recommend an xray, so, im hoping this fucker goes away soon. I don't like missing work, and I don't like popping pills.

All of this, from sleeping funny? I don't know, I did no physical activity that could have done this to my back.

While I do love diablo, it's weird, but I don't think I like the genre...I just only like diablo, if that makes sense.

I played torchlight and path of exile, and those are fine games, but, goddamn they bore me to sleep. I don't know what blizzard is doing, but I just cant into other arpg's. I love all 3 diablo games, and outside that, I haven't found an arpg to make me care about it's particular kind of loot hunting. I don't even think torchlight and path of exile are bad games, just, not for me. Though I could just be biased since diablo 2 is one of my favorite games, and diablo 1 is fantastic (might be the most fun diablo game for a single playthrough), and they've turned diablo 3 from fucking garbage into pretty good.

Still, if I hear positive buzz, may be worth investigating. Will be hard though, this year has a few games that I need to play, sf5, xcom 2, overwatch, possibly wow legion.

Ohh, and I hit 63...might try for 64, but it's getting pretty rough, 63 might be my limit.

Diablo 3, patch 2.4. Durring season 4, my crusader managed to be my most successful character (as all season characters SHOULD due to power creep) at beating greater rift 48. After season 4 ended, ramping up to season 5, they made the thorns set viable. I spent about ~5 hours farming for gear, and in that time, I got...every...single...item...for every single slot...that I needed for it.

Now this fucker is on greater rift 60, and I know I can go at least one or two levels higher.

I farmed for 5 hours to get this.

Thorns crusader is a goddamn motherfucking MOUNTAIN. Basically have like 95% block chance and over 200 MILLION toughness. Shit that was one shotting my hammerdin on grift 48 doesn't even lightly tickle me on grift 55. And all you're doing is running around stabbing everything with a shitty dagger. It's silly, but I like it. This is the ultimate proof that sheet damage doesn't mean a damn thing at all when it comes to killing power.

So lets math a second because im bored. Using this reference to see how much health is boosted per grift level. My witchdoctor has completed grift 45, his max at that gear. His sheet damage is 1.1 million. The health multiplier in greater rift 45 is 2000. My crusader has completed grift 60, and I know I can go higher, at under 250k damage. The health multiplier in grift 60 is 21,000, over 10 times more health. So on paper, I have about a quarter the damage of my witchdoctor, in practice, I have 10 times the damage of my witchdoctor. So my puny 250k sheet damage may as well be 10 million actual damage.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/vladgd-1696/hero/65548919

Not bad for a day of play. Season 5 starts on Friday, Hopefully I can at least do grift 50. I don't want to put a ton of time into the season this time around, just looking to get my free stash tab and play something else.

Ive been living under a rock and I even get exposure to undertale. Also those things are just popularity contests so, the most popular(not the best, typically) will win. Though talking about it, instead of "best game ever" how bout "gamefaq's most popular game of the year", fits better than "best game" imo.

And about grinding in ff7, of all ff games? I played it about...shit it was a while ago, but like 9 years ago, and I specifically remember even running away from a lot of battles and still being sufficient to complete the game with no real effort. (albiet, a few select grinding spots, I don't recall them being too bad). I had a way worse time in ff10 if anything, with the grinding. I just didn't really use magic at all, didn't let materia lower my max hp and whatnot (mostly used the yellow type materia), and physical attacks the whole way through.

But iunno, we all play games differently. I probably grinded a hell of a lot more than I needed to in other games that most people probably didn't need to grind much at all in. (ff12, im looking at you, you stupid game)

I'd been holding back on the steam sales, but that's probably a facet of the past 200 steam sales and my game list being quite large right now.

However I did pick up cities: skylines, which I'll probably dabble in later.

Ohh, I beat witcher 3, took 148 hours...good game, just...very...long...

mmmm and this arrived, so, im kinda sitting around waiting for the release of street fighter 5...it can come out any day now...i got the ps4, the ps4 stick, the game, the ps+, going to get the season pass sometime in january...seriously capcom if you wanna release it early...y'know...you can, i'll allow it...

In the meantime, looking at playing something in my hugeeeee hundreds of games big backlog now that im free from the grasp of witcher, but I haven't decided what to tackle just yet.
