nah, there's people like that.. I've seen it. But really, people acting like animals.. what the fuck. Cats, dogs... Lions, tigers and bears-- Oh my!

See, that's the thing, though.  Furries don't act like that (correction: most furries don't act like that), it's all just media hype.  Yeah, some of them do the fursuit thing (not even the majority do it, if Anthrocon is any indication) but that's really no different than, say, cosplaying at an anime convention.

I'm happy to be have hands and opposable thumbs, and to not be a caterpillar.

True dat.  Though you can't deny that having claws would be pretty badass.

Freaking nice. XD

My laptop's wallpaper has been adorned with the beauty and splendor of the lovable Weighted Companion Cube as of this past weekend.  I'll post screenies if I remember.

And Tim: it's from Portal.

Ever consider that the people in the video might not be taking themselves seriously?  If it's the video that I think it is, it looks more to me like they were just dicking off for the camera.

I haven't really seen any freeware/FOSS software to convert bins to imgs after a quick search, but I did find something that converts bin to ISO, which your emulator (which I'm sure you're only using to play your own PSX games ;)) might like better:

http://es.geocities.com/dextstuff/cdirip/down_iso.html

It's a command line utility but you might be able to get away with just dragging the BIN file on top of it (since it doesn't require a second parameter) if you don't want to get your hands dirty.

Wow, how the hell didn't I notice this?

If I ever meet a furry, and they talk some stupid shit about their connections with animals or some stupid shit like that, I'm just going to tell them that they're being mentally retarded and that if they really think they're some stupid animal, they can go live in the woods with the rest of them.

Thanks for calling a member of my family and a few of my good friends mentally retarded.

I'm back in May-rillind now.  wewt

Spec, 400k? holy shit. d00d, your xboxstat.exe runs on 5.69 times more allocated memory than that, and it's only 2,276K. (compare to my firefox at 154,236K, Azureus at 83,444K or pidgin at 75,700K.) Shit, it's a little under 8x the system idle process. and that's like, extra fantasimo small.

I love wget.

Oh yes. :)  Not to mention the whole thing where it doesn't hammer the CPU while downloading.  DownThemAll for Firefox makes the system have an aneurysm when you finish downloading a large file.  wget just saves as it goes.

I'm a server admin for the network that the s.net irc channel is on, now. thetree.phazenet.com IS GOOOOOOOOOO.

Grats! :D

Hey I'm back.

Hiya! ;D

Edit: For some inexplicable reason I've REALLY REALLY been in the mood to listen to Fear Factory and Static-X lately. O.o  Gwahahaha!

Damn Nintendo and their interspecies sexual attractions.

But if they stopped with the interspecies attractions, what on earth would be left for me to fap to?  Like, that picture of Ridley banging a metroid...that's some hot shit right there. disregard post plz

Getting MVP in a game of halo 3 even tho I don't own an xbox.

g-freaking-g

I had similar experiences way back when.  Anyone remember Dave/Armegeddon?  When he was in the dorms at college we'd occasionally have Halo parties with a couple of our friends and his, uh, dormies.  The people in the dorm played Halo quite a lot.  Dave and I almost never played it and our team of four was able to beat their team of four most of the time.  It's kinda funny.

Also, I think two of the times my other friend and I beat Halo on legendary happened before I owned an Xbox.

Speaking of Halo, a s.net Halo 3 co-op party might be fun.  Anyone up for it?

Remember how Zakamiro and I said that wget kicks ass?  Here's the biggest reason why:

I don't think more needs to be said, really.

I have tried cigarettes before, and hated it. Plus, you really do get cravings and such. Even after a couple puffs, I had cravings afterwards, whereas with cigars, I've never had a real craving for another or anything, I just smoke them when I feel like it.

IANAS (I Am Not A Smoker) but as far as I know cigars have much fewer additives in them than cigarettes do.  They definitely don't have the same uber-addictive properties that cigarettes do.  My mom has been a cigarette smoker for most of her life and she gets physically ill if she doesn't have a cigarette.  My dad, however, is an occasional (read: few times a month, tops) cigar smoker and he has absolutely no problems.

Based on my experiences from the sidelines, both have the potential to be hideously repulsive or so-so.  I've smelled some really bloody AWFUL cigars before (I still have flashbacks to when this one old guy was standing behind me smoking a particularly odious one while I played DDR...ugh), I've smelled some pretty decent ones.  I've smelled cigarette smoke that made me want to cut my nose off with a switchblade and I've smelled other ones that have a much smoother, less repulsive scent.  What it all comes down to is this: nothing is worse than ultra-cheap tobacco-based products.

Hell yeah, I couldn't play SM on emulators...it was too different.  I was pretty comfortable playing it on PSP as well (same controller, slightly worse d-pad) but the framerate was too low. ;_;

As for your question, I think Ridley secretly loves Samus.  Kinda like the Browser-Peach relationship.
