Tier lists are really meaningless and people rely on them way too heavily.

All they mean is that strictly, if two people were absolutely of equal skill and played each character exactly as their strengths demand, one character would likely come out on top. Tier lists don't factor in anything like mind games, items (if you have them on, which I do, usually on high frequency), what other characters are fighting (I personally hate one on one because it just gets into a boring set of who can counter who without screwing up), etc.

8th and 9th both have a ton of songs you can't play elsewhere.

Anyway,

B/pass Kachofusetsu [a]
A/pass Harmony and Lovely [a]
6 EX away from A on Type Mars [a] (I did pass though)
Almost AAA Nijiiro [a]

I love DistorteD so much. 3 new 11's in one day hooray. Too bad the 12's are all ridiculous.

You don't have to unlock anything from AC. You unlock pretty much all of the songs by either playing some arcade mode or by playing them in whatever expert course the're in. Only exception is Drunk Monky. To get that, AA Light Motion, Super Highway and Attack the Music. Drunk Monky shows up in Extra Stage.

Did you guys ever even watch the series?

The end of the 80s-early 90s was a good time to play games. Back when people bought games because hey, the back of the box had cool pictures. None of this hype machine demo unveiling party countdown bullshit. Everyone has pre-conceived notions about everything these days and it's just dumb. Oh god I feel old.

I'd be pretty impressed if someone was enough of a mooch to just read an entire novel, in a bookstore.

When Harry Potter came out, a guy picked up his reserved copy at 9am (open), sat down, and read the entire book. He finished at 9:30pm and didn't buy the book.

Yeah, I work at Borders. We got totally shafted by providers. The only provider who could actually hold to the contract was t-mobile and they're pay-to-use.

But yeah, they usually just expect you to buy a coffee. I've never cared even if they get nothing. Makes my job easier haha.

I've started learning C++ via bringing my laptop to the bookstore, getting one of the books that teaches C++, and reading it in-store. I wonder how long I'll be able to do this.

We largely encourage it. Having you sit in the cafe to use the wireless means you'll probably buy food or a drink at some point.

Metroid Prime 3 is astounding.

It affects me too. I get a few minutes of uncapped upload but then it quickly goes back down to my normal 45k/sec up.

The hell? How well do you trust the friend that told you that? That would definitely be something I would only trust hearing from the person that said it.

He's one of my best friends. Maybe my best friend considering how he's on my side for all this.

Also, yes, Bioshock is probably the best FPS ever made. Hell, it'll probably win multiple game of the year awards. You just have to actually want to pay attention to the art direction, rather than just wanting to shoot stuff a lot.

Re-registered. I'm thinking of buying a nice digicam and doing some video-blogging. That sound cool?

So my ex-girlfriend who broke up with me two years ago while proposing is apparently dating a friend of mine who doesn't think I'm actually his friend (despite me going to see him the night his girlfriend dumped him and he had a nervous breakdown) and he thinks I'll try to kill him or something so he had a different friend inform me.

Man I'm having a great month here.
