I finished the main story line, not so sure how I feel about the quest progression at that point in the game. If you're friendly with all 4 factions, it gets very confusing with how they interact, disagree/agree with each other.  There should be more guidance in that way. Plus I felt after a certain quest chain, the story just kind of flops and ends with no real END ending.

The game does just roll credits and pick right back up where you left off wherever that is, and you can continue to explore and do side quests.

I started a new character and will focus on melee attacks (ninja shit) and maybe small arms.

I mainly wanted the extra cores and better design for Twitch streaming. I can get away with 720p 30fps just fine but it could be more stable for sure. Plus I would like to play music on the stream as well and that takes some power too.

This upgrade (which now, just a few hours after I caught it at $128, is now up to $177) is mainly to give me a nice little bump in overall performance, and the ability to stream more reliably and smoothly.  I'm a fan of AMD, and this being my main rig for gaming and everything else can do Witcher 3 on high, or very high with a slight OC on MSI afterburner and similar performance for all new games.

I've never had Intel because I simply couldn't afford it. But now I can, so I made that a goal with the above system which will simply demolish anything in it's way

For audio, I use an external sound card via USB anyway (Traktor Audio2DJ)

This was just to price out how much it would be to be 'on top' of tech for once. lol now that I already have a very well functioning tower, I am fine spreading out the purchases for the skylake build.

I've had some issues with my nVidia drivers for sure - I found that if/when my game doesn't start (crashes on initial load after launcher), my solution is to use DDU and do a safe mode clean reinstall of the most recent gfx driver

I have no idea what FO4 and nVidia are clashing on.. so much for a "game ready" driver.. I can tell not a lot of testing went into that one. I'm sure they'll patch it eventually and at least I have a fix now.

I think a lot of people are giving knee jerk negative reviews because.. well computers are fucking finicky and everyone has a different rig. It's highly improbable to test for all these extra variables down to what services are running on someone's machine. Anything can make a game crash. Especially a game as huge as FO4..

I had crashing issues (only 5 ish mins of gameplay), and ended up rolling back my nVidia driver  and doing a clean install of it. Fixed it instantly. Running 100% smoothly and loving it

And I just realized I can still run my secondary monitor off my 550ti in a different PCI slot! My secondary is an older dell 15" which is only VGA unfortunately. Still handy though.

From the 550ti - amazing difference!! It has taken all games Ive thrown at it so far in stride. It's a super cool card too, runs at half the temps the 550ti did.

Great great card. Thanks craigslist :D

It feels good to get 60+ fps without even trying or editing the settings.

still puttin around on WoW after work most days.. got my current toon up to 71-72.. switching back and forth between dungeon runs and main questing.. This is the highest I've had an alliance character too so It's fun to see different parts of azeroth for once. I will probably only buy the most recent expansions when i hit level cap. I currently am up to mists of pandaria.

I'm in a guild but i don't really interact that often as the casual level of my playing does not really match a high action guild, plus I don't feel like I would be of any help in their larger events due to not having a level 100.

If I needed to mobile-compute at that level I would definitely love a surface. They look awesome! Don't have enough reasons to buy one though

Y'all into this? Just got it last night enjoyed it for 4 ish hours. First time really playing a "real-time" RTS RPG. Like the dynamics so far but there is definitely a learning curve for the uninitiated, even on Easy mode.

If you played baulder's gate i suppose it would be quite familiar.
