I don't consider any form of killing each other to be "noble" in any sense, personally. Warfare is a joke no matter how you do it.

Random Chat / Tumblr, anyone?
« on: September 30, 2010, 06:36:49 PM »
It seems as though many of us here are starting up Tumblr accounts (including me, now :D) I thought maybe it would be useful to gather them all into one place to make it easier to follow each other. Out of all the different blogging websites I've used (which is a decent few) this one seems the most promising so I highly suggest you try it out.

So post with your linkies and I'll list them here!

P.S. Listen to Ween.

It's my dad's b-day today and for his present I'm going to finally start production on the website for his business. It's weird being back in web/graphic design mode. Funny how several years of Photoshop use sticks in your brain forever; it's like I never stopped using it.

EDIT: Just realized after reading the above that the phonetic pronunciation of "b-day" sounds kinda like "bidet" :]

Man, a mile and a half in 15 minutes walking is pushing it. I walk around 4 miles an hour, and that's a decent speed, most people I know don't walk that fast (there are some who do, but not the majority by any means). A mile and a half in 15 minutes is 6 an hour, which is pretty much jogging speed. 6 miles an hour walking is nearly impossible for most people... I'm not saying you couldn't do it, but if you actually do, that's damn fast for "walking" somewhere.

A lot of people say I walk really fast. I think it's because I'm tall and have long legs. It takes me about 12 minutes to walk a mile unimpeded at my regular pace.

Man I love installing a fresh copy of Windows. Not only does it run smoothly but I get to go through all the settings and tweak things to my liking. For some reason I get much gratification out of changing settings for software...

PS It looks like the banhammer 'sploded and sent banshrapnel everywhere.

I've decided to have another go at quitting smoking cigarettes. For the past few weeks I've been conditioning myself to associate another oral fixation to the urge to smoke (charms blowpops mmm..) so that anytime I get that urge I'll go the places I normally go to smoke and just sit there and suck on a lollipop instead.

Been listening to a lot of classical piano music. Hungarian Rhapsody in C Major makes me tingle all over every time I listen to it. Really anything by Franz Liszt is fantastic though.

That reminds me of something I saw about a guy who's face melted off from an electrical burn and survived. Apparently it's so intense that it actually dissolves the bone and tissue?

Anyway on a happy note, I am feeling more secure about my finances since I got my job back :D
