Computing / Audio question.
« on: May 13, 2011, 07:48:14 PM »
Going back to December of 2010 - Remeber when I bought the Tritton headsets and they sounded like shit? Well -

I'm kinda deadset on getting a headset. Been using them since day 1, and I've always favored them. perhaps I'll try the psyko and get a better soundcard.

And thats what I did.

....Now this is where I start getting pissed off....I went and got the SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champ1ion edition soundcard, and the New Psyko Carbon headset. Problem is....It sounds like shit. What the fuck am I doing wrong for it to sound so crappy? it sounds as if I'm standing in an empty hallway, and its really hollow sounding. Can't turn up the volume too loud because I get lots of terrible distortion. I mean...I spend $500 on this stuff...And compared to a $20 headset I had before...The $20 one is reigning supreme....What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this stuff to make it sound perfect?

Computing / Webcam question
« on: May 12, 2011, 12:27:24 AM »
For some reason, the webcam I got today would light up and what not, but the drivers wouldn't work on it and said the device wasn't working. SO I uninstalled it all, brought the camera back and got a replacement. The guy showed me the replacement worked perfectly fine with no problems...But when I brought it home, hooked it up...This time, the drivers and everything installed properly, but the thing isn't lighting up and it sais its not plugged in. I've tried EVERY USB port on my PC, and I know its not the ports because my mouse and other things are hooked up to them. And yes I swapped the ports with the mouse, and nothing worked still. The camera doesn't light up at all, and it sais its unplugged when its still plugged in. Any fixes for this? It's a A4Tech USB 2.0 webcam. And yes, I already tried downloading and installing the drivers from the A4Tech website. Any help = <3

Computing / Dualview monitors help!
« on: January 29, 2011, 11:45:49 AM »
basically I wanna setup a dualview where I play my games on 1 screen and am able to do other shit on my other screen without having to alt+tab down. Is that possible? If so, how the hell do I do it? Cause if I setup a dualview, my second screen just shows a background and no start bar or icons, it just showing the background. And if I set it to clone, that doesn't help, it just does the same thing on both monitors. Not to mention it messes up the resolution on the monitors. 1 of my monitors is the 1980x1200 and the other is 1280x1024. Also, I want it set where both monitors have my start bar and all that stuff, but it'll only play the games on 1 monitor so I can still do stuff on the other. Help me! I suck!

Computing / Headset problems
« on: November 29, 2010, 03:03:28 PM »
I just purchased a Triton AX Pro headset today, tried tweaking it around a bit, and it sound alright I suppose. Unfortunately when playing left 4 dead 2, the sound is very muffled and sounds retarded, nothing like surround sound at all. Christ, my old 20$ surround sound headset sounds better. Not sure if my settings are wrong or what, but if I can get some help to fix this before I start to lose it, Thanks.

I just got one the other day...But from what I understand, electric ones don't require anything besides a helmet, yet, gas powered require a helmet, license, insurance, plates and stickers. Why?

Media / ISO - Good Street fighting movies
« on: June 15, 2010, 02:06:18 AM »
Currently I just watched "Fighting", "Never Back Down", and "Blood and Bone"....Didn't really like Fighting that much, but Never Back Down and Blood and Bone are awesome. If any of you guys can recommend other good movies like that, let me know, I'd like to see them.
Ps I've already seen Fight Club, Ong Bak, Blood Sport, Kickboxer, and some others I just can't think of right now. So if you know any good movies of that genre, post em up!

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I've tried running the XAMPP thing, started the MySql there, and it does the exact same thing when creating an account. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Computing / Graphics card small problem.
« on: May 31, 2009, 12:48:29 PM »
I just got a new xfx geforce 9800 gtx+ gfx card, and I have it setup for dualview with my tv. Problem is, when I go into a game or something else, my tv settings reset to default, making the screen size to not fit the screen properly, and the color goes back to default to where its too bright and what not.
How can I set the tv settings and keep them that way without it resetting all the time?
For example, im playing paper mario on a Nintendo 64 emulator, and I fix the settings to where everything is fine on the tv, but when I full-screen the game, the color goes back to being too bright on the tv.
Any way to fix it so it stays the way I set it?

*Edit*
Also, I forgot, when I go back to fix the color again, all I have to do is click any slider on the tv color settings, and it goes right back to normal without me having to set anything again. Its hooked up through the s-video converter on the computer, converts to HD component cables.
