Random Chat / Re: How's this coronavirus affecting everyone?
« on: March 30, 2020, 04:24:16 PM »
It's also allergy season which doesn't help. I'm sneezing/coughing/runny nose like crazy right now but I can tell it's just my usually annual allergies. Hopefully that has something to do with it Newf because yeah...that would suck.

3.5g would last me somewhere around a week, but that was also considering I was working, and generally tried not to be high at work.

I agree. I don't condone working high. People that do typically don't care about their job at all in my experience. That being said, and this is pretty bad, wife and I go through a half a week. It's the backwoods we're kind of addicted to the tobacco leaf I think.

Sorry to hear that Bobbias. That really sucks. Silver lining at least it's not permanent.

How long does an oz of weed last you? Just curious.

My work life is business as usual. Georgia hasn't really been very strict. Law firms are largely working from home but we're a small firm so it's just same shit different day at the moment.

Jesus I'm just gonna start asking you things first before I talk to anyone else. Appreciate the master class lol.

She's finished.

My father in law works on ATMs and had some 500gb barricudas laying around. Tried to keep cost as low as possible using stuff I already had or could get for free so I popped three of those in. The 770 is from my old build, which it's crazy to me how expensive that card is still looking at what it's going for now.

Specs
Rosewell ATX Fullt Tower
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX AM4
RYZEN 7 2700
GTX 770 4GB Windforce
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB for OS and three barricuda 500gb HDD.

Not a shabby gaming build. This is my first time using a Ryzen CPU I'm pretty impressed with it so far. Between the case and the MOBO this build is sitting pretty on USB 3.0, which our other two PC's are limited on.

It does, though I ended up talking to a local store .He's a pretty honest guy, young Korean gentleman, and I've been to him before. He basically told me the risks aren't worth it. I even mentioned uninstalling all the drivers first and he still felt it was too at risk to blue screen with all the new hardware going in.

As honest as I perceive him to be I did get a little suspect of how adamant he was about it.

Regardless I decided not to upgrade her PC and just use all the new parts on the new case. The new case is better anyway and my wife didn't have anything she's tied down to on her current PC that we couldn't just re-install or move so we decided to just switch hers out with the new one. All around that was the easiest path I think for me.

The only thing I want to swap at this point is the Liquid Cooling unit from her old one to the new PC. My sister is living with us and will be using the old PC. She's a big ol lesbo and she's excited about her rainbow fan more than anything else lol. That and Stardew Valley.

Computing / New Motherboard will require a format?

Long story short I have new parts and am getting ready to build a new gaming PC. My original plan was to upgrade the parts (and MOBO) in my wife's PC, and use her old parts on the new case I have.

I have never done a MOBO swap like this before so I did some reading and honestly I'm not totally clear if it's possible to replace the MOBO without losing everything.

Her old MOBO doesn't even support DDR4 I don't have the model info in front of me. This is the new MOBO I bought.

Regardless Spectere I figured you could probably dumb this down enough for me to understand the risks etc.

Unfortunately not this year. For some reason this was a major year for weddings in the Yo between family and friends. I've been up more this year than any year since I moved. We're gonna stay at my in-laws farm in Tennessee this holiday.

We're gonna try to get up there for my Wife's bday in March. We did it this year and went to Salvatore's in Austintown which she is now obsessed with. You simply can not find even close to the quality of Italian food and pizza down here that you can get up there.

Now that you have a civic, in typical Youngstown fashion you must throw a body kit on it now and add a rice burner exhaust.

Honda's are great cars. Very nice gonna last you a long time. My Accord was one of my favorite cars never had any engine problems.

I'm lurking out of the shadows for a moment to bring news that Clone Hero devs just released a multiplayer build that seems to be working very well.

Lots of good updates since Clone Hero was last discussed here but das a big boi update.

Hope all is well.

What service were you streaming to and what kind of rig are you running? Using Streamlabs or just OBS?

Was it a stream you tested or was it a recording you tested? If it was a recording were you savings it the same hard drive your game was running out of? Sometimes that can hurt your performance.

Wife and I have done a number of streams using OBS or Streamlabs.

Do you still need any help?

Creation Station / World Tour Guitar Test
« on: May 24, 2018, 08:16:18 PM »
Well I got home to an early delivery. The World Tour guitar came in today. It feels brand spanking new which was surprising, but the whammy doesn't work. If that's the only issue though I can live with that. Buttons feel almost springy I can tell they've barely been used. I'm 32 this probably shouldn't excite me that much.

Did a little test run on Lamb of God. Don't make fun of my broken pinky.

My heart just sank. Damn dude. When I listened to him on H3 I realized how little I knew about his situation. He had been going through hell these last few years just fucking sad man.

Rest in peace TB. Hope shit's better on the other side.
