Aw shit!!

Looks like they are really going for it this time around. I think I prefer MSAA though. Seems to be a bit crisper, yeah?

Oh, you'll get it eventually. Everyone succumbs to WoW nerdism, at least a little bit. :p

I'm sure I will. My girlfriend is pretty well versed so she's been kind of showing me the ropes. Have a level 22 Undead Mage and a level 5 Night Elf Druid. Must say I'm getting pretty addicted and this almost saddens me. I promised myself I would never but here we are 10 years later. WoW you tricky mistress you...

Yeah, I absolutely love the story in Mass Effect. I admit I'm not looking forward to beating ME3 because of the divisive ending, but the journey matters more than the destination for the most part.

It's the best. No story has ever captivated me like ME. I have shed more tears in that series more than any other video game ever. It's really an emotional attachment I have with it. The Multiplayer in 3 was just a WELL added bonus (if you've never played it you are truly missing out). The ending just leaves a lot of questions and it's a bit frustrating yes. It could have been worse but it felt poorly thought out and possibly rushed. The whole game though in ME3 was truly Epic.

I'm probably going to wait for TotalBiscuit's port report of GTA V for PC before I pull the trigger on it. If they did as terrible of a job on it as they did on GTA4 (we'll put it this way: the GTA4 port was so bad that upgrading my video card destroyed my framerate...it makes Dark Souls for PC look spectacular) I'll just start over on the 360 version and deal with not having a first-person mode. It was one of those deals where I got about half way through the game and had to stop for a while, then I just couldn't get back into it. Had a ton of fun with it, though!

That's not a bad idea but I have a good feeling it will be a proper port this time around. Fortunately with Dark Souls we have guys like Dante to fix their horrendous shortcomings (like FFXIII's pathetic excuse for an options menu graphically). GTA IV always crashes if I have my monitor extended too. It was pretty bad.

Do you play Dark Souls II?

FYI most of what you guys are saying about WoW is like a foreign language lol!

Spectere that game is just incredible 3's ending aside, best trilogy in gaming ever. I bought the N7 Digitial Deluxe Edition for ME3 on Origin and have been leveling back up on Multiplayer. I unlocked almost everything on Xbox LIVE so it's kind of fun going through and getting all the characters/weapons again.

Also.....GTA V is almost here!!!!!!

It is good I've been pretty pleasantly surprised. The only other MMO I played really was ESO the first two months, which god damn I wish I could have my $100 back from those first two months and the imperial edition bullshit. That and Guild Wars back in 2004. MMO's have never really been my thing too much but WoW seems to be very well crafted. Of course it's been out forever so I'm sure they've had plenty of time to perfect it.

What server are you on?

Just started my first ever WoW account yesterday. Always avoided it like the plague because I knew myself too well. Couldn't risk that kind of addiction.

So far pretty good. Playing an Undead Mage with my GF who's playing an Undead Rogue.

I agree with Spectere 100%.

What is it about the Philippines you love so much just out of curiosity? I know a lot of....sexual business comes out of there.

Oh, I also have another HAPPY thing. Got a fairly nice performance bonus at work, so I'm going to be grabbing a couple of GeForce GTX 980s here soon. It'll be my first-ever SLI setup. I was originally just going to buy one (since I have a buyer for my GTX 680 already) but what the hey.

Edit: I just bought two of these. That...was 'spensive. Totally worth it, though.

Congrats dude that's awesome. I think you have more money than you know what to do with right now!

I wish I could turn back time last year and wait before I got my 4gb 770 Windfroce. The 970 turned out way better than I expected.

I like the way that looks; I may actually purchase this OS when released! Seems like it keeps the nice stuff from 7 and 8.1, tying it together with a new look and new functionality

I concur. That actually looks pretty good.

Welcome to the glorious pc master race of gaming. Big congrats on that amazing vidya card - that's my next upgrade for sure. Followed by a water cooled 8 core AMD (currently on 4.2 GHz FX-4170)

Far Cry 3 is one of the best single player experiences I've ever had in gaming, period. You make me want to replay it. If you like that, make sure to check out these other fine titles:

Far Cry 3: Blood dragon (everything you love about FC3, but CHEESY EIGHTIES ACTION MOVIE STYLE)
Dishonored (another one of my faves)
Metro: 2033
Bioshock: infinite (if you haven't already)
Fallout 3/New Vegas
Skyrim (PC Mods make the experience SO much better)
The Stanley Parable
Planetside 2 (F2P MMOFPS)
Path of Exile (F2P MMO diablo 2 inspired dungeon crawler, great if you had high hopes for D3 and were disappointed. Just make sure to disable/exit trade chat when you join)

How have I not seen Blood Dragon!? Dude I almost shit my pants just now watching the Steam trailer, lol! That's a perfect classic 80's action trailer. I must have it.
Do you still play at all? I play Multiplayer like a motherfucker dude. The App they have for smartphones is the SHIT for multiplayer. You can customize your class to take into battle right from your phone. There is also a puzzle mini game that gives you up to 5 Decoders per day.

Dishonored is easily one of my favorite steam purchases. Probably only a third of the way through (25 hours) but I really dig it.

I've got over 100 mods on Skyrim currently. I definitely feel ya on that. I requested PTO at work for release of Skyrim on PC actually. After all the Youtube mods for Oblivion, I realized I HAD to get Skyrim for PC this time because I was missing out so much. I even did a Frostfall Survival mod review here. I had a Radeon 6770 that surprisingly got me 25fps on Ultra. Though the some areas got pretty laggy (Lucky's Woodland Home area)

Metro I'll have to check out. I'm still working on getting to the Bioshock series. I do own them just keep getting preoccupied with other interests. I have a buddy who played through them all though and he loved it all.

Ok I see the Stanley Parable pop up like once a month for $14.99 and I don't have a clue if I should buy it. Something about it appeals to me but also makes me question it being worth the purchase. Your opinion?

Planetside 2 currently just finished downloading today actually lol. I have a buddy IRL that insisted I play it with him so I guess I'm about to find out what it's all about.

Path of Exile I'll take a look at. Haven't heard of that one.

You know to be honest I don't know.

They give the key out for almost 3 days. Friday night Sat and Sunday. Twice they've sent me the key to get in.

Problem is, that's really not worth my time. Some people actually have lives, so one weekend isn't enough time to "test" a beta. I get Bethesda isn't very experienced in MMO (or online play at all!) so it is what it is but still, not a happy camper about that.
