So for Xmas my GF bought me a GTX 770 Windforce 4GB.  :o
I'm pretty sure I freaked out more opening that than any gift ever as a child.

I have officially turned from Console to PC gamer now. I've been working on my rig for a couple years now and I do believe it is finally complete, as I don't care much for flashy LED's and Cathodes. Specs to date:

In-Win BUC Full Tower
W7 Pro 64-Bit
3.4GHz Intel Core i7-2600
GeForce GTX 770 Windforce 4GB
16GB DDR3
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 850 Watt
128GB Samsung 840 Pro Series Solid State Drive (For my OS and graphics programs)
2TB Seagate SATA II HD
3TB Seagate Barracuda SATA 6 HD
Intel RTS2011LC Liquid-Cooling Kit
Vantec SP-FC70-BL Spectrum System Fan Card

I've been playing the crap out of Far Cry 3 which probably has one of the most awesome Story Modes ever. It's like a mix of Skyrim, GTA, and Call of Duty combined. The online play is pretty sweet too. As you level up you have lots of unlockables and even a Mini Game for your Iphone or Android that helps build your online character with new weapon mods, XP and other goodies.

Anyone else take advantage of all those Steam Sales around thanksgiving? Fallout New Vegas was only 10 bucks with all the DLC. I got Far Cry 3 for 7.50. Every Tomb Raider ever for like 14 bucks. Steam has officially destroyed my desire to purchase from the Xbox live marketplace ever again I think.

Ah yes I remember seeing a  Fuerer on a0... damn long time. A0 was special to me as one of the first online forums I joined, right around the same time I got my first PC and started playing FFR/stepmania and other games like Tribes 2/rainbow six. heh

Dude I totally hear you on that. Was my first forum too. There was one hell of a melting pot of a community in there. It was awesome. The internet in general was also more awesome back then. Before the powers that be started taking over everything online and policing the shit out of it.

I actually used to hate A0 himself because of how cocky he was. For some reason that bothered me back then.

I wonder what everyone is doing career wise these days? Think I'll make a topic about it (not that anyone will reply for years)

Yeah I'm surprised he keeps it up too.

We used to actually hang out back in the day. Met him on A0 and turned out he lived like 15 minutes from me. We'd go to PA and play ITG all day in the arcade while his other friend would pick the lock to the biggest screen arcade game and we would hook up Gamecube to it and play Smash Bros.

Good times. Simpler times.

Somehow I'm still alive.

How is everyone these days? Can't believe it's already been a decade since A0 went offline.

We're all getting old =(

The days of Arch0wl hold some very good memories. Him and I never got along, but I was much more subject to get defensive at his type of criticism back then.

That was crazy how right before the end I discovered you lived like 20 minutes away from me Spectere. Beaver mall and Camelot! Lol. When your buddy hacked his gamecube on that bigass arcade machine I almost shit myself.

There was a lot more base for competition to be had because of Arch0wl.com. His contest song packs I love still.

Good times.

The costume was cool and what not, but why american idol? He shoulda went to like, americas got talent or something.

Sorry late response. Yeah I said the same thing to him lol. He just did it to get on TV. It helped him get a lot of work though so I suppose it wasn't all for naught.

Anyone worried about 2012 go to 2012hoax.org

I actually came across it a year and a half ago, and I won't lie I was pretty bought into the fact that SOMETHING was going to happen. I did graphics for the site and got to talk to the people responsible for creating the site. There are some very brilliant people dedicated to shattering that bs.

Hope that gives you some peace of mind.
