I wish I knew why they left it out of the options menu as well...seems kind of odd to me.
Type "preferences" in the console and you'll see exactly how many options they left out of the options menu xD
Actually, most of those options could harm the game if inproperly changed, which is why they got hidden. But, yeah, if you look in UnrealTournament.ini or User.ini you can find a bunch of fun stuff that you couldn't edit normally... you can change what default character you play as in tournament mode, make yourself the champion with absolutely no work, etc. Lots of fun stuff to play with.

« on: October 15, 2007, 12:44:57 AM »So, basically, six buttons -- left, middle, right, scroll wheel, back and forward buttons for the thumb, sixth button for the pinkie. I think it would work pretty well. I can't see any more buttons being easy enough to hit to be practical.
I had a couple of Kensington USB laser mice, like that, left, middle & scroll, right, but only one thumb and one pinkie. Kind of useful but both of my mice broke.

I remember somebody complaining about not being able to change the dodge button press speed in UT99 but I'm too lazy to find the post... I found the option, I think. Open User.ini, find "[Engine.PlayerPawn]" and change DodgeClickTime. No idea why they didn't put it in the final preferences menu.

Since my school inexplicably dropped me from AP math (scheduling conflict or some bullshit) I wasn't able to take it....what? That's fucking bullshit, on the school's part. Over here it's the fourth year of standard math (third for people who took algebra in 8th grade). It's somewhat of a mix between trigonometry and precalculus, from what I hear; I'm going to try and take it my second semester this year, since this albebra ii class seems like less than a semester's worth of review bullshit with barely any progress... with the amount of content we've managed to learn so far in this quarter, I'm sure I could most of it in a few after school sessions.
also they should separate the class levels for classes like this or something, there's a couple of senior jocks in this class that must be retarded or something and it gets frustrating and slows down the class even more, it doesn't help that the teacher treats the class like elementary schoolers anyway i dunno an "AlgeBRA FASF HUR HUR FOR RETARDZ!1" class or something so the people who want to learn don't have to deal with that shit? i bet classes like this would seriously only take a semester if that happened
