I don't know if anyone else uses Trillian, but I may as well ask:

Is there a way, and if so, how can I have new chat windows not be displayed when I'm set to away, until I come back? You can do it with standard AIM, but I can't stand AIM at all, and have used Trillian for a long time now. I won't stop using it because of not being able to do it, but if there's a way, that'd be lovely.

I'm trying to re-find a lot of the music I lost, and I can't for the life of me remember one artist. Aperson did a simfile to one of their songs quite a while back; the song has a clip of a japanese woman thanking people for flying on an airline, I remember that much. Does anyone remember the artist? It's been bugging me for days.

So I definitely thought the site's been down for months, because I had the wrong page bookmarked. Go me.

Go to McDonalds. Buy a Filet-o-Fish and a McChicken. Put the McChicken patty on the Filet-o-Fish. Profit like fuck.

Pssh, WoW. Way to miss the not-so-subtle hints in my post.

i say the same thing about paying $60.00 for a game that will last me about 10 hours (ie most games coming out on consoles these days)

$15.00/month for a game i generally put lots of time into is a fucking steal for the amount of entertainment you get, even if you casually play.

i can understand one not understanding the "monthly fee" thing, but generally you get a better value when it comes to how much hours of game you get per dollar you pay.

now obviously this depends on many factors (like the game you are playing, and how into the game you are) but typically it's worth it if you enjoy what you are playing i figure.

This. I pay $13.00 a month for FFXI, which equates to buying a newly-released game 3 times a year. In 4 months, I log more hours onto FFXI then I have for nearly any other game, and it's been that way for over 2 years. For many people, the continuing fee is an incentive to play it even more then they might otherwise be inclined to, as well; just to feel like they're continually getting their money's worth out of it.

watch all of the parts

basically warhammer online is like "these parts about wow suck, lets make them better"

and now WoW is like "you know, them parts about warhammer were pretty good, lets change things up"

attack power- GONE
defense- GONE
spellpower- GONE
hunter mana- FUCKIN GONE!
spell ranks- GOOONNNEEEEEE
mp5- GGGGGGGGGGGGGGgggggggooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
armor penetration- GOOOOOOOOOOOOonnnnnnnneeeFISHINnnnnnnnn

and what are they doing with this?  well watch the videos, merging the benefits with other stats, like spellpower with int, and whatnot.

pretty exciting stuff

You dick butt. I was just coming here to talk about WAR. I've been playing the free trial, and I'm definitely subscribing as soon as I get my paycheck next week. Shit's fun.

I saw The Goods today, it was really good actually. It was funny almost the entirety of the movie.

movingmovingmoving

I'm in a similar situation. I'm getting a place with 2 of my friends, so we've gotta figure out (once we get a place, anyway) how to move 3 packrat-esque nerds' worth of shit into one house.

It's actually working quite well. I downloaded a small pack of wads from Demonoid, it's got Doom 2, Final Doom: Plutonia Experiment, Final Doom: TNT - Evilution, The Ultimate Doom, Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders, Hexen: Beyond Heretic, Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, and Strife: Quest for the Sigil.

Ian, have you played Strife? I downloaded zDoom and a couple of .wads for it, and Strife's one of the games that came with it. It's really good.

I get paid minimum wage to serve pizza and cake to upper-middle class little shits and their douchebag parents, or to walk around in circles inside a laser tag arena that's in hideous need of repair. The floors are busted up, the speakers and most of the lights don't work anymore, some of the ramps are about to break in, and none of the fire exits are actually hooked up to any kind of alarm system; the employees just use them to go outside and smoke during the games. Guess how many hours I've worked this week? 8. Across 3 days.

Is it bad that I start a new job today, and I kinda already don't want to go to work?
