Pennies kind of annoy me.  When I go to 7-Eleven and buy a 1 liter bottle of tea, with tax it comes to $1.02, which means I need to carry around fucking pennies with me every day >:[

If anyone had actually read the wikipedia article, they'd notice that there is currently a bill on the floor that, if ratified, would abolish the penny. Strangely, I'm not so sure that will happen. I could be wrong, but considering that the section on wikipedia was the first I'd heard of that, I doubt it's making a very large splash in the political arena.

Hence my "as far as I know its just a rumor."

Yeah up here everything ends with .99 so after tax it still comes to xx.99 which means you either pay with exact change or get pennies back lol. But its cool if you can manage to get a collection, I want to try to get one going lol. I can display it on my wall and everyone will be JeAlOuS

a 1 litre bottle of tea is $1.02 with tax there? Fuck. Closest we have to that is a can of Arizona Iced Tea for $.99 + tax (currently 13 cents) so it comes to $1.12. And it's only 595 ml. And that is quite a bit cheaper than anything else, really.
This is going in my sig. :)

We have a 6% sales tax with no tax on food or clothes (among a few other things).

PA rules.

Man, it always amazes me when I think about how the states each have their own laws and taxes and all that. I mean, we have the same thing (to a much lesser extent, the federal government has more control here than your federal government has on the states), but we have way fewer states/provinces...

Also, there's no such thing as a dry county in Canada. Though some places have taxes on liquor.

In TX, I've seen taxes from 8% to 8.5%, depending on the county. It kind of threw me off here in CO because the tax is closer to 6.5% and when paying in exact change I always gave slightly too much.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

i bought a BFC after work so i can have a nice big drink for starting aion.

yeah...kind of made me feel like shit.  to the point where i went and got mc donnalds breakfast and a dr pepper...

hotcakes, 2 hashbrowns, and the killer...one sausage biscuit...

THAT STOMACH CANCER MADE ME FEEL BETTER.  yeah, i kind of don't want to drink any bfc's anymore.  it's not blatant "AHHH I FELLL BADddd" but it's just a general "man i feel like shit, i want to lay down" feeling.

Dust Busters are your friend. I just vacuumed up around my desk, which had a ton of cat hair, cheerios, and some chips on the floor (I know, I'm a fucking slob, but it's hard as hell to pick stuff up with my chair pushed into a corner like this) and now it's amazingly clean.

Also I can't get my copy of DMC4 to work, it seemed to install fine but when I hit the suggested running method I got a black screen. Now I deleted it and I'm trying to figure out how to get it to run...
