Never? I was surprised when Valve released the spy/sniper update so quickly, but with L4D2 coming their going to take a while.

it's shit like this that makes me want to get into 40k.  so i want to buy a battleforce before the year ends, since i have like $15 worth of coupons at the store the links video is apart of.  i mean, having a starter army to work on, and paint, would be fun to put together, and with the paint id buy, i could also use for terrain.  i mean, i mainly enjoyed putting together the assault on black reach, so yeah, assembling a battleforce would be awesome.

i don't want orks (even though i love them), eldar, dark eldar, or space marines.

so i have to decide between

necrons
tau
chaos space marines (slaanesh or nurgle)
tyranids

thinking maby not tyranids because the reason i don't want orks is because they are swarmey and boyz die quickly, i assume nids are the same.   necrons are high on my list because they are fucking awesome (like orks), and durable as shit (from what i hear), but i guess they suck or something in game.  i don't know.  then chaos marines, haven't heard too much, but i would assume they are as good as space marines only different.  so yeah...i need to make my mind up before those coupons expire (pretty sure they expire start of 2010, so i got time to think)

So I got my reminder call from the hospital about my surgery tomorrow and I was just sort of half listening because it was still really early in the morning but then I heard, "And then you'll be able to go home by 1pm." So I had to stop and ask them to repeat that because I wasn't sure I heard it right and yeah, I'll be back home right after lunch. Super awesome.

And then I go and check the status on my 360 repairs to see how that's going and it looks like they listened to my angry note that I left with my system saying that they should just give me a new one because they're already sending me a 360 back and the serial numbers aren't even close. So that'll show up on Monday or Tuesday. Super hot.

Do you understand how excited I am that I can bring certain things back into my diet? I'm not even supposed to eat mac'n'cheese right now and that used to be one of my standbys for lunch when I couldn't think of anything else. I won't be going out and buying a KFC Double Down or going to Japan for the Windows 7 Burger any time soon (if ever) but just being able to eat the types of food I want to eat is a huge weight off my back.

YES and i love it so far.

Good to hear. :)  It is a pretty kickass phone.  The physical keyboard is probably the best part of it.  After using it for a while, my iPhone's on-screen keyboard just feels clumsy (that said, the iPhone's on-screen keyboard is definitely better than the G1/Android's, but what can you do?).

Ooh, another feature I like: the ability to turn off auto-orientation.  I can't even begin to describe how much I've raged over the iPhone's nasty tendency to just go into landscape mode when I'm trying to read something or reply to a text message (or to go into cover flow when I try to change tracks in iPod mode).  Ugh.

Thanks! I have been wanting to post here again for a while but alas, I am a skilled procrastinator. It's a gift and a curse. Actually just a curse... :|

Anything unbelievably fascinating happen while I was away?

Man, if I had swine flu, I wouldn't be as nervous as I am. Waiting for this is totally killing me. And it's not even something I can do anything against. I have to just show up and have stuff done to me and hope it all goes okay.
