Also after idling and running a GBA emulator I saw my PC CPU was at damn near 70 degrees C, so I turned it off for a while and it seems to be fine as of now. I'm not insane when I remember hearing that it needs to heat up first and then cool down before the thermal grease becomes fully useful?

I did a quick google search and saw nothing talking about that, and from my knowledge of what thermal grease does, I'd say that it doesn't make sense anyway. There is a delay where the grease (especially if it's Arctic Silver) needs to fill in all the cracks and such (mentioned on their website http://www.arcticsilver.com/as5.htm)

Quote
During the CPU's initial use, the compound thins out to enhance the filling of the microscopic valleys and ensure the best physical contact between the heatsink and the CPU core. Then the compound thickens slightly over the next 50 to 200 hours of use to its final consistency designed for long-term stability.
This is going in my sig. :)

Oh wow, that's the exact type I use.

Still seems odd that my idle temp was damn near 70 when I just finished cleaning it out, but it's fine now.

Had a look at the stats at the bottom of the main page. On average there are close to 400 posts per registered user. Holy shit.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Has any one else here other then I ever seen Razak's Roughneck?  I think it is really good despite it being a late 90's cgi cartoon.

Never even heard of it.

Also I watched the Spike TV awards, which was painful and I had to do it via livestream because god knows I'm not going to support them financially, and surprisingly Uncharted won.

even for a small community, that's still quite a bit..

and i think the majority of us are definitely quality over quantity. except boobies, which is both.
I wish that cake was a lie. :(

I guess he never figured out what Willis was saying :/

y'know, it looks like ass doesn't it?

anywho, it wasn't my idea, i brought my water/nerds drink to work and had people try it, they liked it.  then the manager suggested monster with nerds, and then we went on joking on how drinking it would give you diabeetus due to the mass amount of sugar in that thing.

so yeah, that's where the idea came from.  as to where i got the nerds/water thing, i couldn't tell you more than i got curious one day and i happened to have a box of rainbow nerds and a bottle of water.

i mean, the drink looks disgusting(many different colors being dissolved in liquid), i agree with that, and the friends i showed agreed with it.  but i mean, if you enjoy the taste of nerds candy, it tastes EXACTLY like that, only in drink form.  not even a weird diluted because they were dissolved in water taste, it's just the same as if you poured a bunch in your mouth and chewed em up...only a liquid.

but the monster thing...ehh...im going to have to take another sip, but it's not for the feint of heart i can say that.

*edit*

ok, i tried more of this bastard mixture.  i have a few words to say.

no sir, i didn't like it.

[insert image of that horse from ren and stimpy here]

*edittddddddddddddd889

drank about 3/4 of this mixture, this shit is fucking cancer, do not mix monster and a box of nerds

My roommate's gone home for break, so I have the room to myself for the next 4 days. Currently pantless and loving it.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Check it out.  If you like Scifi stuff.  Yes it is based off of (to some extent) Starship Troopers but the series itself is really good.

I'm going to try and play NeoTokyo more, because the player base has really seemed to die and it's a damn good game.

I suppose the day and age of heavy team based tactical shooters is dead and gone. Now everyone wants a run and gun rambo experience.
