And, to be honest, even if Chrome did have/get more extensions, I'd still keep with Firefox. Until I see a reason to change personally, I tend to stick with it

Well, to each their own, I know FF has some useful translation addons, but I doubt that that would be enough to keep me using that for everyday browsing. I just find chrome to fit my uses better. Personally,m I think it runs faster on my computer (by a fair bit) than FF, and it takes up less screen space (which has always been a major plus, since I don't have dual screens on my laptop).

But yeah, I wouldn't expect any of those addons to have been ported to chrome yet (keyword yet).

Also, maybe my list of stuff will help anyone here with chrome looking for extensions.

I was looking at CPU usage of FF to GC Bobbias and GC uses about 23-24k of CPU usage where FF uses almost 300k-600k and it does not fully close at all...that becomes a major pain espically when I play something like TF2 which is more CPU intensive.

That's not cpu use, that's ram use.

Something you need to consider, chrome has each tab in a separate process, and each of those processes takes up like, 60k average (depending on the page). Chrome eats ram just like FF does. Thing is, it's more secure, because each tab is a separate process, and all the other security measures they use. And on top of that, it takes up less CPU use (not ram) than FF does.

I don't have any exact numbers right now, but at some point, I'll do a comparison.

Also note, I use the developer builds. There's usually a huge difference between the dev builds and the stable releases.

I've never been able to car enough about sports. I mean, why the fuck should I care if some over payed jock wins or loses some fucking game. I respect the skills and abilities of those guys, because, fuck, I could never do that sort of thing, but I just don't really give a shit. I like being able to cheer for a team, but not enough to actually care about one team.
