Good god, me too.  I really wanna learn that.  Haha.

The hardest thing about a manual car is going from first to second gear.  If you do it wrong you stall out...unless you can get enough rpms and go from first to third.  Oh and speed shifting is fun as well :3

I'd agree with boobies, that was definitely the hardest part for me when I first started. Then again, you probably had a car with a bad second gear (my friend used to just get a higher RPM and go straight to third to skip his second gear) but yeah, average cars are harder to start.

For me, actually learning it wasn't hard at all, but getting it down so I could easily go through traffic and downshift and brake when I need to was sort of a bitch. Highways are your friend for learning stick.

The only issue I ever had learning standard was reversing, I kept stalling lol.

Anyway went to karaoke last night at a local pub. Sang Here's To The Night by Eve 6, the girl hosting (who wasn't too bad, looks and singing) said "You've got a nice voice, you should do Idol. Seriously."

It was heartwarming ;_; lol not real American/Canadian Idol, they do a contest every week and give away gift certificates to places.

Reading House of Leaves. About 100 pages in. Shit's getting real.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

You're supposed to be amazing.

Also why is steam saving the new update to my desktop? I can't seem to find anything useful in the steam options to change the save path for this shit.

....wait what the fuck?

Also I feel like I'm going to fail both my drafting classes and I need just them to get my certificate. I just can't seem to draw for shit and my teacher is burying me with work in one class and not being clear enough in the other (it's a once a week class, we did nothing the last two weeks and this week he told me I needed to redo all my shit and make a 3D model next week.

That and he literally told me I didn't need to make a drawing that displayed every aspect of architecture he told us about, then today he literally asked me for every example of them.

I don't even know how but I've ended up with Vista Antivirus 2010, which is a super aggressive virus. So goodbye Vista and data, hello Windows 7.

i can't seem to justify buying a ps3 when i have a 360.

mgs4, uncharted 2, nobi nobi boy...

not exactly worth buying a ps3 for when everything is multiplatform now a days.

ahh well, i guess ill blow my tax money on something else, or not blow it at all.  thinking about maby getting a new video card come sc2, my current card is good, but i hate how loud it gets when anything tries pushing it, or games that don't support both gpu's.  i would even take a shittier card which is quiter under load.

but i built my pc a year ago, when im not thinking about making a pc, im not following the hardware scene, so i don't even know what cards are good or not.  even thinking or talking about it isn't relevant because when sc2 comes out months down the line, new cards, new prices.

also not get an obscure card that nobody uses, i mean, 4850x2, they sold those for about two months.

I'm the same way. Whenever I see someone here posting about making a computer and I check the prices and the specs on the stuff they're getting, I'm always amazed at how much cheaper things are than I'd have though. I mean, when I saw the specs on this computer in walmart when i got is like, 2 years ago, I was amazed you could get an AMD Athlon X2 64 in a laptop for $550... lol.
