good lets plays
« on: August 24, 2009, 03:53:38 AM »
figure this could go to the youtube thread, but, i think it's a bit worth of it's own topic.  pretty much post people you enjoy watching lp's from.  i reckon i can start it out with some good ones.

http://www.youtube.com/user/mikelat  (i recently found this guy, im a pretty big fan of the way he comentates.  nothing crazy, just a chill dude playing vidya, which i enjoy)

http://www.youtube.com/user/ZoopSoul  (i found him when i was into castle crashers, which if you want to know where to get everything, a great page to visit)

  (this guy does a lot of obscure games which are fun to see, also his donkey kong lp is great)

  (if you watch lp's, you most likely know of this guy)

http://www.youtube.com/user/kolibirism  (it's not the official page since the original guy got banned for the typical copyright shit lpers get banned for randomly.  he's just like, awesome.)

i don't really watch tv much anymore, and the time i would be spending watching tv is generally watching random lp's.  i know im leaving out a bunch, but i figure why start a thread with nothing for anybody else to add too?

http://www.letsplayarchive.com/

An archive of lets plays made by somethingawful members, meaning that the majority of them (well, the majority of the video ones anyway) are much better than non-sa lets plays. Min you, that doesn't guarantee that some of them won't be shit. But many of the funny LPers are goons.
This is going in my sig. :)

Wow, I literally just finished a LP of Crash Bandicoot 2. I wouldn't consider it as good as most of the LPs I see, but I think it was alright:
st?p=838E91C01966814D

Anyways, the only LPs I'm subscribed to are AzureBlade49 and Proton Jon.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Theres a game I remember for playstation way back in the day...I forget what it was called, but it was one of those games like Dragons Lair on Sega CD where you just had to press 1 button at the right time to advance in the story. It was basically watching a cartoon, but pressing buttons at the appropriate time. I'd like to find it again, but I haven't got a clue what its called. Only thing I remember in it was 1 part where you had to constantly move your hand away from a knife, cause someone was trying to cut it off.

these aren't really "lets plays" per say, but it's relevant enough.

geDotCom

if you want to watch sf4 matches, there be plenty here.  also apparently they will be doing other fighting games (i heard tekken 6 mentioned) later on, and they have several mvc2 videos up as well.

sf4 is like one of those games i like watching more than playing.

Psychadelic Eyeball is literally the greatest man on the face of the planet. His Castlevania video is unbelievably amazing.

http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Blast%20Corp/

im linking this because the guy is entertaining, and blast corps is surprisingly really entertaining to watch.  i recall renting this game WAYYYY back but not getting into it.  i don't think i could get into the game even now, but it's still fun to watch others play in my opinion.

not to mention he does some random shit near the end of his videos which ended up giving me a few laughs.  but yeah, just watch your volume on the first video, he yells REALLY loud, but he doesn't do it in any of the other videos.
