Just got the vaccine today, only to go along with my folks, since I live with them.  Now everyone is 'safe' and hopefully we don't get sick from the shot. I don't remember the last time I received a normal flu shot, and I haven't ever had the flu. Hmm.

I've heard the shot is much safer than the one they squirt up your nose from a friend who works at a hospital.

I haven't had the flu in something like 9 years though so I really haven't bothered. I wanted to get a shot for either normal flu or H1N1 when they were free but the lines were so ridiculous that I didn't want to bother.

Pretty sure I've already experienced the fun that is H1N1.  Not very fun.  It lasted a fair bit longer than most cooties I catch.  :/

nothing really more than that.

schools have closed in my area due to it, but that doesn't take away the fact that it's just a flu. 

i don't have the vaccine and i don't intend on taking it.

One girl at work had it, and she said it was exactly like the regular flu. So I'm not worried.

If you have some pre-existing condition that'll kill you, maybe you should get it. In the meantime I enjoy being able to walk forward properly.

I lived downstairs with three people who had it and I was just fine. My immune system wasn't pampered into uselessness as a child :]

I have never really been prone to sickness and have only had the flu once when I was younger so all these epidemics don't phase me too much. I tend to be susceptible to mental illnesses instead.
