christmas loot thread
« on: December 25, 2009, 03:02:36 AM »
did we have one of these last year?  i forgot, but here it is.

-60gig 360 HDD
-zelda twilight princess (gamecube version)
-ehrgeiz
-bushido blade 2

and uhh my sister got the wii fit to play on my dad's wii, i reckon they will both enjoy that.

nothing exciting, but all is well, everybody is happy.  ill admit transfering what i could from my old hdd to my 360's internal memory to my new hdd, then downloading everything that couldn't fit was a tad annoying since it took some three hours.  but shit, i got a new HDD, i can install more than one game at a time now, YAY!

and i got to the forest temple in the twilight princess.  i played it on the wii at a friends place and i beat the forest temple, so nothing new yet, save for better controls obviously.

So I get handed a large bag from my parents.  Neat.  Bags are fun.  I look inside.  I find a what appears to be a laptop bag.  So I look inside that.  What's inside?

Jumper cables.  Cute, dad.  Hardly a complaint though.  I wanted jumper cables.  Haha.  I also got some nice gloves, a $25 Visa gift card, and a $50(?!) Starbucks Gift card.  Then a few random things of candy.  :3  And for some reason, a $5 Sheetz card.  I think my dad just happened upon it or something and thought "Hey, Colleen likes Sheetz!" so...neat.

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the DS
Storm of Swords by George RR Martin (part 3 of Song of Ice and Fire)
Virtua Tennis 2009 for the Wii
Sony AC Adapter for USB devices so I can charge my PS3 controller without the system being on
PS3 Slim 120GB (this is actually a family present as it sits in the living room and my mom mostly uses it for bluray movies)
a plate of cookies

We got the PS3 back on Black Friday but I'm counting it because I'm amazed my mom actually bought it.

Oh, biggest gift of the year

Medical Assistance from the state for my medical bills. Now I'm just choosing my plan and then so long $10,000 debt!

This is honestly my best Christmas maybe ever but most definitely the best within the last decade.

Nice.

As for me I got some nice pants, a Tool shirt (I think it's the cover of their last album on the front) another shirt, a USB drive (needed one for school) and some money (50 from my parents, 100 from my grandparents). So far fairly awesome, all I wanted was money and clothes.

Mostly clothes... However, I did get an LG Rumor. I've been needing a cell phone for a long time. Now that I've got a co-op, i'll be able to afford to use one for a while.
This is going in my sig. :)

I got some cash monies, ridiculous hipster clothing (I have no idea why, but it's still pretty funny...), an IRL demotivational poster (I was not aware such things existed), and I guess I'm going to get a new phone, but I haven't gone down to the Verizon store with my dad yet, so I'm not really sure what I'll end up getting. Hopefully I can convince him to get me a smartphone, since the town I go to school in has 4G :V!

I got the chance to feel like a depressing asshole because my Christmas sucks and I have no money to get anyone else anything ever.

- Rez Trance Vibrator controller and Munchkin Holiday Edition from a friend who's ~34k in credit debt
- $20 from her brother and his girlfriend, who hate me (which was promptly given back to ^her^ because I borrowed $20 last week)
- $25 gift card to Royal Farms from my uncle (pretty much just part of a tank of gas)
- $20 from my fucking 14 year old cousins
- a laptop I had to buy myself with the money from selling my FFXI account
- The Full Fuckpack (http://www.fuckthiswebsite.com/buy-stickers-and-books/) which I also bought myself

I'll take a picture of it later on. It's not something obviously from /b/, but it's still the same concept, hahaha.

- Firefly box set
- District 9
- Hyperion
- This weird little house which can be used for small-scale alternative energy experiments

Both of my parents got The Hangover, and we watched it at my dad's house. Hadn't seen it before now. Hilarious movie.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

I fucking want DJ hero so much. My girlfriend and I literally spent like, an hour playing it at a walmart one night, lol.

I guess this kinda counts as christmas loot, since I bought it as a boxing day present to myself, but I found Corporate Love Breakdown: The Bluegrass Tribute to Radiohead. It is amazing.
This is going in my sig. :)
