video edition, pretty sure i said everything that needed to be said in the video, with some rambling, but the video is only 4 minutes long so it shouldn't be too bad.

I have a local game store that takes in lots of rare/valuable games and sells them at usually low costs.

(not necessarily from that store)
Metroid (NES) - $9
Breath of Fire (SNES) - free after I bought some other games
Jet Force Gemini (N64) - $3
Mario Kart Double Dash!! (GCN) - $10
Wing Commander III (PS1) - $4
Final Fantasy IX BLACK LABEL (PS1) - $20
Final Fantasy X (PS2) - $5
inFAMOUS (PS3) - $25
Killzone 2 (PS3) - $25
[Prototype] (PS3) - $20
Alex Kidd in the Lost Stars (SMS) - $3
Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean (SAT) - $40
Magic Knight Rayearth (SAT) - $40
Myst (PC) - $2
Diablo Battle Chest (PC) - $10

I also go to thrift stores hoping I'll find a copy of Earthbound for a dollar, but they never have any video games at all.

Magic Knight Rayearth (SAT) - $40

Fucking awesome. If I had a Saturn, I would DEFINITELY try to find that game... Mind you, if there's one thing I'll collect, it's MKR stuff... I made a torrent ages ago containing the entire series in MKVs, all the soundtracks/albums (minus the ridiculously rare stuff that I didn't even know existed), the SNES rom, both the unpatched and the hard hack that someone made, and a rip of the soundtrack from the SNES (converted to MP3 manually).
This is going in my sig. :)

so much nicer putting what i would say in a post in a video.

*edit*

shadow man works, but i need a memory card for it.

nba jam and blast corps did not work, but a cleaning with rubbing alcohol and a q tip did the trick.

soon as i can get over to a bros ill check out home alone 2.  later down the road ill probably buy a retro duo so i can get my snes/nes on.

I didn't know Black Label FFIX was worth that much -- I got one for $15 at my local Game Force.  Otherwise, their game prices tend to be a little higher than I usually see.  I've gotten most of the original Mega Man games (all besides 3, 4, which I got beforehand, and 7, which is nigh-impossible to get at a reasonable price unless you go to eBay or So I Heard) from them at $10 or $15 a piece, though.  Dunno if that's much of a deal or not.  Their FFT wasn't as cheap as their FFIX, it cost $25 :(

Treasure Mountain..............  We had that on the school computers in first grade and would play whenever we had computer lab.  I don't mean to brag, but I was pretty good at it.  I wouldn't even flinch at the problems involving double-digit numbers.

Jesus christ I still have that game on floppies somewhere here. I killed the /shit/ out of most of those TLC games, that Operation Neptune one was the best shit ever.
