so i thought to myself a bit ago, i want to start drawing.  so yesterday, i attempted to draw some stuff...but i don't really know where to start.

thinking maby get the basics down for specific parts before moving to the next one, when i have the basics down for an entire figure, just draw draw draw draw and try to improve from there.

so maby...

-skeleton  (not like anatomy skeleton, but a basic framework for the body in whatever pose i will be drawing)
-head
-face
-hands
-feet

i mean it's kind of hard to just jump in and do something when you don't really know the abc's yet.  probably dedicate an hour of my free time per day into practicing this stuff until i start getting better.  when i get better and start enjoying the results of my work, i will obviously want to spend more time on it, but it's a pain in the ass getting started when nothing you draw is something that looks "good"

but i don't particularly enjoy the process of learning how to draw, but i want to do it because i know i will enjoy it when i start pumping out art that looks good.  it's like i have images in my head i would like to have a way of showing other people without shelling out money to people who can draw already, even then it's their vision of what i am explaining to them.  not that i have paid anybody to draw something for me, but it's come across my mind. 

kind of have my own character who i would like to flesh out a bit.  he's a caveman named korg, uses a giant club, and lives in one of those cartoon times where cavemen and dinosaurs both exist at the same time.

I can ask my girlfriend about what you should maybe try to do to get better. She's in college for art, and has had a number of drawing classes, so maybe she can help point you in the right direction.

Of course, the biggest aspect to getting better at drawing is well, drawing, lol.

So reading my April issue of gameinformer and there is going to be a Sonic 4 game that takes place after Sn3K...best yet it is DLC...for all 7th gen consoles....I am so gonna buy it when it comes out

It's pretty crazy to think that I've known some of you for six years D: That's longer than a lot of my current real life friends. Is it normal for a general forum community to stay active like this with no specific basis for discussion? I haven't been as active on many other forums, but most of them I've seen are centered around one unifying topic. This one seems to sustain without any distinct discussion source besides life in general. It's purty cool.

In other news: getting older is weird. Especially when you're old enough to start seeing other people get older. And old enough to start noticing that 80% of the things we learn to be absolute truths throughout our childhoods are actually completely subjective or theoretical.

Also, I want a sandwich.

lol, I think spectere.net is a rather unique little niche of the internet. I've never heard of another forum like this lasting the way s.net has. Then again, I've never felt involved in other forums, the way I feel involved with s.net. I consider you guys actual friends, regardless of the fact that I've never met any of you guys in person.
