« on: July 28, 2010, 05:29:36 AM »

got this about a week or so ago, so i didn't go back.  decided to try the site again, clicking on the forum tab to see if anyone had this happen...to have that pop up again, and i close the tab.

false alarm, easy to solve, anyone having problems with destructoid?  i quite like the site, but if i have malware warnings, ill have to stop using it.

I'll have to try it out on my desktop.  I too have Avast antivirus so we shall see if I get the same message.

It looks like that file is just an improperly named HTML file that's mistakenly being loaded as an image.

Considering how Avast! is picking it up, I'm guessing that it's probably just a generic description for a potential exploit rather than something that's necessarily a threat.  I examined the HTML file and didn't see anything that struck me as being malicious.
