I have the Orange Box for the 360.

Kept my copy of HL2 for my computer because I still can't wait for Black Mesa Source

The friends system in Steam works like Xbox Live.  If you accept someone's friend invite you add each other to your lists (i.e. if you sent me a friend invite and I accepted, I'd appear on your list and you'd appear on mine).

I don't remember how to actually see who the person is, though... :o
