3D still seems like a gimick to me...

Also, overdiven monitors tend to ghost (I don't know that much about monitors, but I do recall reading about that.) so even though it has 2ms response times, it might have ghosting, which can affect viewing quality.

Either way, i'm glad you like it.
This is going in my sig. :)

From experience with all the games I've tried so far, I think it's phenomenal!

Monitors with 2ms response times generally don't have the color depth that 5ms+ monitors have, too. I had one and experienced terrible banding, which was unacceptable for doing any sort of graphical or design work. Then again, you don't really notice it in games, so NewF should be golden as far as that goes.

How is the 3D effect on that sucker?

It looks insane. First time I saw it I almost emptied my ass all over the floor. It's awesome. Not to mention it retails at around 600$ or more after taxes, and I got it for 300$, so I got a great deal.

I tried almost all of my games with it, and it was amazing. I love it.

Sweet.

Have you tried it with something that's very UI-oriented, like WoW or SC2?  For that matter, how do crosshairs look?  I'll bet games that use iron sights for aiming look orgasmic.

I tried sc2 and WoW, and they both look really awesome. I haven't tried a game that uses iron sights yet, just crosshairs.....With l4d2 the crosshairs for the survivors are good, but when it comes to the crosshairs with the infected, they look a little strange because they have the original circle crosshair then the "recharge" circle, so it looks a bit confusing at first, but you adjust to it after a while.

So everything is perfectly readable even with the 3D effect?  If so, that's awesome.  Seriously, that's the main thing that was holding it back for so long.

Yeah seems pretty good to me. There is a depth setting with it too so that it doesn't get blurry for you or anything.
