I got a little restless, so I went out and took a pretty decent drive (about 45 minutes, I think).  The weather outside is gorgeous.  Around 25-30F, light snow, some ground coverage.  The temperature is very comfortable and the snowfall makes everything look that much nicer.

It's been a while since I've taken a night drive.  It's amazing how pleasant and calming it can be.

I can definitely agree. It's pretty nice here. Pretty much the same as you described it, an inch or 2 of snow on the ground, pretty much no snow falling, temp was something like -4c (24.8f). I've always enjoyed driving at night, I dunno why some people don't like it.

Yeah, I think we're right around the same latitudinal line, and we both definitely get a bit of a lake effect.  So, yeah, you know exactly what I mean.

When I went out there wasn't much accumulation.  Probably a centimeter on my car and a light coating on the ground.  I drove a few miles west (to Canfield, OH, to be specific) and the snow was coming down a bit more there, so we'll probably get an inch or two by tomorrow morning.

I just love being able to throw on a pullover hoodie, walking outside, and getting a lungful of cool (but not cold) air.  So refreshing.

Ordered a Razer DeathAdder yesterday

According to newegg it's begun shipping today, but they don't have any info on it's progress yet... I hope to hell it arrives Monday, but with my luck it'll be at LEAST Tuesday before it arrives. Either way, I'm damned happy about this, because my last mouse was some generic Targus travel sized mouse (which is over 2 years old now). I like the small size and light weight, but the cord is breaking, and the mouse is beginning to get jitters, or just fly off to random corners of the screen and such. It makes playing SC2 a LOT harder than it should be. Plus, with the DeathAdder, I'll be able to adjust my CPI to the right level without having to trade accuracy for speed (I like a fairly quick mouse ingame).

Ordered a Razer DeathAdder yesterday

You have been infected by the SC2 virus.  What's next on the list, a SteelSeries 7G keyboard? :p  But anyhoo, nice pick!  Looks cool and, from what I've heard about Razer products in general, it'll be awesome.

I have my eyes on the SteelSeries WoW: Cataclysm mouse, personally.  I've grown tired of Logitech's horribly unreliable mice as of late (the last good mouse I had from them was the MX510; my last G5 and current MX518 have the shittiest scroll wheels I've ever used), and I heard that the Cataclysm refresh of the WoW mouse is outstanding.  Also, one cannot possibly have enough buttons for WoW.  Never.  Not to mention that having a PTT key for Vent right on the mouse would be very useful.

I wanted a SteelSeries, actually. The Taiwanese SC2 player Sen uses all SteelSeries, and my dream setup would a SteelSeries Xai mouse with a 7G Keyboard... But that's kinda really expensive.

Aside from the Cataclysm mouse, I have my eyes on a SteelSeries 7G.  I miss my old Model M and am still pissed that someone threw it away without bothering to ask me if I wanted it.  Mechanical keyboards are amazing.

My G15 is the best rubber dome keyboard I've used to date, but it's still a rubber dome keyboard.  The only thing I'd miss from my G15 are the LCD display (handy for telling me the time while I'm in a full screen game, but I have two cell phones and an iPod sitting next to me almost all the time anyway, sooo...) and the programmable keys (and losing those won't be an issue if I get the mouse).
