The best Quake mod...ever (teaser video)

This is the result of me taking my laptop in the bathroom a couple of times (hence the name, sPoop), getting bored on the car ride to Canada, pulling an all-nighter with Renard, and doing a bit more work at home.  The result?  Looniness and ridiculousness to the nth degree and it's not even finished yet.

I did all of the QuakeC and Quake engine modifications (many of which were done last night, actually), in addition to throwing in (and/or manipulating) a lot of the random sound and changing some skins and models.  Renard threw in a ton of ideas and contributed sounds and skins (most importantly, the skin of the episode 1 boss...heh heh heh).

I love the Arnold noises, also the part where you picked up the gun and it said "Africa".

Yeah, both of those were Renard's ideas. XD

I should make another video where I just show off the various weapons and monsters.  Some of the registered version ones are amazing.

My personal favorite parts are the fish gun (the double-barreled shotgun replacement) and Chris Foy.

I like the underwater stuff, it's trippy as fuck, but man, nice run, I love the fish gun too, lol.

ROFL, I love the stepmania opening sound.
The story section wins.

Yeah, I had to compress the loving hell out of it to get it down to 17MB. D:  I think the audio took a lot of the space.  I would have played with it more but I'd already compressed it 7-8 times by then and just wanted to be done with it.

In GLQuake, going underwater slightly warps the world geometry.  What I did was increase the amount of warping that occurred and made the lightmaps warp at a different amount/rate.  That's why there are fullbright flashes all over the place.  Fun! :)

That's from into the inferno right? Also the end boss and the story thing were great.

Surprisingly no.  The only sounds from Into the Inferno are the Ogre (pyroko), the dog (Jinxie...the dogs make the "MEOW!" sound and have an extremely long death sound), and the zombies (me).

BLLAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHH actually originated in Quake 3.  It's the sound that Grunt makes when he falls into a void.  I took it into Audition and used the amplify filter on it (+48db, heh) and possibly added a little bit of distortion to it (don't remember for sure).
