Well, I didn't go on a PvE server because I liked the idea of being able to actually get in fights with the other faction and such. I now know why some people play though. My build is a PvE build, so I'm decent at killing mobs, but craptacular at PvP :/

So I want to make an enh shaman, but I can't decide what race to make it: Orc or Troll.

Any advice?

i wouldn't recommend an enhancement shaman, unless you are doing it entirely for pve dps, and you don't solo often.

enhancement shaman = rogue/fury warrior with the worst survivability out of just about all class/specs in the game

however, if you want to give it a try (it can be fun, for a little while) either race works fine.  bloodfury is a nice dps boost, but so is troll berzerking at low health (and believe me, you will be at low health a lot)

i say, pick what looks better

Well...damn.

Coming from you, that makes me not want to play an enhance shaman anymore.

Anyone have any ideas what I should play as? I tried being a shadow priest, but I got sick of healbotting for PUGs and ended up deleting her. Note: The only character I have gotten to mid-game level is my prot pally (she's 49).

You mean as a hunter. I always liked Trolls berserk, but I also hear that trolls also have the highest melee crit chance out of any horde race.

well if you want to play a needed class, that doesn't much need to worry about spec in pvp and pve, mage.

yep, mage.  i mean, maby you will need a specific spec for pvp, but you can still do the damage regardless your spec, people will want you for groups, you can solo fine. 

so yea, mage if you enjoy playing the class.

I like orcs in general because of their stun resistance, unless that got nerfed after I stopped playing.

i MAY renew to either

A: pvp with the shaman to get more welfare epix
B: get the paladin to 70 in preparation for wlk, as the shaman is a useless class, and my patience with it is running thin over the years ive played it
C: don't renew at all, sell the 60 day gamecard i have to my friend for $20.00, and get rid of my account so i won't play again
D: quit thinking about the game and play some more iidx

Yeah, since my parents are having a bit of financial trouble right now, they got me to cancel my account, which means I'll need to buy gamecards if I want to play now. And I'm too damn lazy to buy gamecards. Plus, I'm kinda bored with it anyway.
