Custom from a local computer place:
P1 133
32(?) MB RAM
1.5GB Harddrive
No idea about graphics.
28.8k modem.

Sure, it had the internet, but when you could go make coffee in the time pages took to load you couldn't do too much with it.

I had to compress the (Using the old-school system where it compresses the entire drive) so I could play Diablo 2, despite not meeting the required Minimum processor speed (It needs a 233, lol).

We later upgraded to a 56k modem, and I think a faster CD drive. We got it not long after Win95 came out, actually, though I didn't know at the time. It also happened to cost $3300 with the 17 inch monitor we got (which was $300 by itself.) I know the price because I found the invoice a while ago, and remembered it.
This is going in my sig. :)

Hahahahah, I remember back in the 33.6K days, that when people in school said they had 150 songs downloaded...it was like the most amazing thing ever.

I had 40 something and it had taken a looong time (4mb song @ 1.5kbs LOL)

I was born too late and retarded for most of my youth.

Still, Osbourne computer. A pretty weird and pretty advanced model that came with a cdrom, ps/2 ports, and what I later noticed was a modern-sized ram slot as well as four of the little tiny ones... or was it eight? And a pentium overdrive slot.

This is a 486 that ran windows 3.11. :P

Actually, update: the ram slot isn't of modern dimensions, it appears to be some mysterious slot like the brown one that looks kind of like PCI (but isn't). Also it has onboard video. What the fuck this computer is awesome.

I had one of those brown PCI-esque slots on the bottom of my old P1, lol. IIRC my modem was plugged into it. I actually wish I had overclocked my old P1.. It required moving the jumpers, but that would have been so fun, lol.

I'm not cool like you guys. The first computer I used was a hell of alot older than my first one.

I'm still on my first tower, I just haven't got around  to getting anything new. I've upgraded it alot though

Originally: Emachines
intel celeron 1.8GHz
like 128MB RAM
shitty onboard video
40GB HD

now
intel pentium IV 2.4GHz [it was the same socket size]
1GB RAM
256MB radeon 9200 something
120GB external HD
[2] 40GB internal HD

I should upgrade.
I wish that cake was a lie. :(

I guess he never figured out what Willis was saying :/

And thats all I can remember..funny thing is, it was hooked up to High speed cable internet...the new computer now is through a shitty ass slow cable internet lol.
