Well, there are times where I prefer the harshness, just like when I want to listen go Gabber. There are also times I like Techno (specifically, Schranz), DnB (All types, tech step, liquid funk, etc.), and Even Digital Hardcore (Atari Teenage Riot kicks SERIOUS ass!). But I enjoy Rossz Csillag allat sz

The White Stripes' "Elephant" is an amazing album.

popped in ye ole mad breaks album, and needless to say, its not old yet.

i could listen to this album 100 times in a row, and i doubt i will get sick of it.

i really wish sharpnel could top this one, he hasn't seemed to do so yet with his latest works, but topping my all time favorite album isn't exactly an easy feat.

that aside, ive been listening to the mouse and the mask album.  for some reason, i love listening to it on the way to mc donnalds for breakfast.  now i can't explain why, but if i am going to get some sausage biscuits, i need dangerdoom in the cd player.

also goddamn, i want this in .mp3 form, and i will listen to it on repeat for the entire week.

Judas Priest. 80's metal = awesome.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

It's true, however, I think Iron Maiden is the superior band.

I bought Plaid's Greedy Baby album/dvd thing last night, watched it, and was convinced it would be the best thing ever to watch on drugs.

Haha, Plaid is all kinds of awesome.

I love Maiden too. I prefer them to Judas Priest, but I like Iced Earth more than either of them, lol.

I've been getting into post-rock and stuff lately though. That, and some hardcore/metalcore. I'm listening to Xiu Xiu (pronounced Shoe Shoe) right now. It's pretty neat. It's some weird music, but really awesome. They definitely have some weird electronic influences.

Here's something to illustrate how unique they are. Oh, and it's got awesome graphics too :P

Also: Mute Math is seriously awesome. I love this shit:

Seriously, give it a listen. It's very rockish, but it's got a sorta atmospheric feel. Wikipedia says: Their music consists of many elements such as rock, new wave, electro, psychedelia, and jazz with ambient vocals.

I love this stuff so much....

Heh.

On a sorta related note, I randomly looked up "keytar" on Wikipedia tonight and it had a picture of the Mute Math frontman playing a keytar.  A coincidence like that is probably some sort of sign for me to start listening to them or whatever. :P

Haha, yeah, they use a keytar. My brother showed me then like, 2 years ago because of that. I'd forgotten until I mentioned that I was listening to them now, and he reminded me.

It's here because it's about discussing music, not dedicated to links and stuff. The media forum is for linking s.net to stuff you made, or found. This is about discussing bands, whether you provide a link or not. This forum is for talking about stuff, so this thread fits.

Actually, if the page didn't break you'd easily be able to see that I plagiarized your post because I'm a turd. =(

Damn page breaks, always ruining everything.
