make each page hold 100 posts

problem solved

Actually, I would not be opposed to a posts/page increase.

50 would be a nice number, maybe? What's it currently at, 20?

*shrug* 15, I think?

The problem with pumping the number up too high is that if there are too many long-winded posts (lol bobbias <3) it quickly gets tedious scrolling through them.  Forget about image threads -- going through those would be hell.

Also, a bit more of a selfish reason is that too many posts per page would be hell for me when I start visiting the site on my BlackBerry (whenever I get the darn thing, that is).

as much as the vicious delicious album has songs i loathe(in front of me, and artillery make me cringe), the song heavyweight is a masterpiece.  audio euphoria, eargasm, ect.

that, and i haven't really listened to anything that wasn't mf doom for a while, gotta mix it up son!

i do appreciate how IM is experimenting with their sound, while still keeping straight psytrance tracks in their albums to keep everybody happy.  it allows them to make new sounds(some good(converting vegetarians!), some bad(in front of me, im looking at you!), that's what experimentation is) while keeping the core audience interested.

also the electric synth guitar sound they do is beyond awesome.

*edit* man i can't wait till i get an mp3 player, working out to this shit would highly motivate me to get my ass in shape.

*edit* special place.....THE BPM CHANGES ARE SEX GATDAMN, this song is like audio porn.

Yes...the trackball on that thing would be begging for mercy.

Fortunately, the BlackBerries that Nielsen uses has the full keyboard rather than the half keyboard.  Thank goodness.

Ahh. Yeah, the trackball is a nice feature though. My mom has a Blackberry Pearl she got to replace her old phone, so I got to check it out.

Yeah, Heavyweight is amazing. Also, I actually really like In Front of Me, but to each his own I guess >_>

PS: The new Ayreon album, 01011001, is really, REALLY good. Everyone, go fetch.

I stopped giving a shit about being trvekvlt when it comes to black metal; Dimmu Borgir and Cradle are pretty great (even though CoF really is nothing but gothic metal).

Yeah, but man, the vocals, and Danni's lyrics both kick ass. Even if all the vocals are studio production.

So are the vast majority of goregrind vocals, and they're still good!  Though Danni probably isn't that good live; goregrind bands can replace the pitch-shifted vocals with growls but CoF can't really do that....  Definitely agree on the lyrics, dark gothic erotica ftw.

And in my last post, I may have made it seem like I was implying that I dislike gothic metal, but that is far from the truth.

So I love Oppenheimer. They're an Irish indie-electronica-pop band who opened for They Might Be Giants, but me and my friend loved them so much we bought their album immediately after they played. Looking them up is highly recommended, their music is amazing.

Oh my god, I just realized how awesome /mu/ is, when in conjunction with /rs/. I was able to find six (!!) ridiculously obscure avant-garde metal albums that I'd been searching for, for years, there :o

So, this brings me to my next topic, maudlin of the Well, it's pretty freaking awesome musics.
