Lupe Fiasco is another rapper. He's featured pretty decently on many Kanye songs. He's practically the image of everything gengster rap isn't. He looks like some mild mannered kid who goes to church on sundays and all the rest of it, and his rapping reflects that. His beats are VERY R&B influenced.

I know I'm supposed to form some sort of constructive criticism about bands and what not, but fuck this band. It sounds like a boy band mixed with some sort of shitty rap music. It's so bad and my friends are apparently into it.

Aw, c'mon.  brokeNCYDE is way better than that other one.  Why?  Entertainment value.  I laugh my ass off every time I watch the video to Freaxxx, mainly because the screamo kid is so ridiculous.

Rodrigo y Gabriela. Amazing acoustic guitar players in a lot of ways, plus awesome people, and I can't do their stuff justice (mostly because I'm bad at describing music).

Have a listen! If you like it, check out their albums. Currently, they've got three albums out: "re-Foc", "Rodrigo y Gabriela", and "11:11" (which was released last month, the first track being the one in that video). I've been listening to and loving it for the past week or so.

Holy crap, they are amazing. I love their fusion of flamenco and non-flamenco style. The more regular leads (still in Spanish scales, but played more like normal guitar leads) layered over her amazing finger picking adds an awesome unique sound to them.
