Found the EP Lady GaGa (don't judge me lol) released as Stefani Germanotta before she was GaGa.

It's so completely different from what she is now, I kinda like it :x

What's it like? I'm mildly interested, just for novelty, if nothing else.

Standard rock band with her on piano/vocals. More mellow than I'm used to.

EDIT: There's a few more on YouTube, Wish You Were Here is decent

This makes me wish she'd stuck making that stuff. The production is kinda weak on those tracks (as in, the backing music is almost non-existent), but she really is a great singer. That stuff actually really reminds me of Sarah Bareilles. Which is definitely a good thing.

If only she didn't make all that ridiculous electro-pop stuff. While I'll agree that Poker Face is rather catchy, I've never been a fan of commercialized electro-pop. (I still absolutely love AIR, which I think somewhat falls under some form of electro-pop, considering they are primarily electronic music producers, and their music is very much pop oriented.)

Awesome. I haven't checked back there in quite some time, so it's nice to hear that he's still got stuff coming out, and it's still as amazingly badass as it was before.

Okay, so far I've obtained some Queen, MF Doom, Dream Theater, and the Jet Set Radio Future soundtrack. Fun times.

I agree on the production part, but what can we really expect from a then-unsigned 19 year old girl and her bandmates?

She really should do more of that stuff, most of her songs don't show off her vocal talent.

Agreed. And though production was weak, there was definitely a lot of potential there, it's not like it was bad, it just wasn't there.

Then again, I think that that music really wasn't her thing anyway, so as much as there was potential for success in that genre, I don't think it really would have worked.

By the sounds of it, her style is more bizarre, something like Emilie Autumn mixed in with some weird electronic stylings.

I'm loving this song. Also the Boa album I currently have is a bit more upbeat then I would have liked.

Also I wish my new songs added tab didn't die on me...
