I even like to dream when asleep, and to try and recall my dreams: it assures me that I haven't wasted seven or eight hours just lying there.

Yes, I know.  And no.

Lol, yeah, I didn't say anything until Zak because I knew that if you'd wanted to use it, it would already be in place.

alright. i will. oh. and i dont know why but i forgot to mention Skinny Puppy. one of the best bands ever. get the album VIVIsect VI. glad you're liking Neubauten.

Now that's a name I recognize. No idea where I've heard of Skinny Puppy, but I know I've heard the name. Another band you should check out is Battles. Most of the band plays both guitar and keyboard. At the same time. They play 1 hand tapping along with playing stuff on the keyboards, and using all sorts of effects and such. Their newest album just came out, and blew my mind when I hard the stuff. They are one of the coolest experimental bands I've ever heard. They also employ loads of effects, such as pitch shifting the vocals and stuff. Oh, and if you're into noise rock, try Melt Banana, and The Locust. If you like Digital Hardcore, you probably already know Atari Teenage Riot, although if you don't, you should check them out too, lol. (Be prepared, they are an aural onslaught)

I'm just chock full of weird bands :P
This is going in my sig. :)

I've heard of them. Battles is great.

Shadow Gallery is a disgustingly underappreciated Prog Band, as is Spock's Beard.

I'm currently addicted to Billy Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday'

Its such a sad song... but VSnares did an amazing cover of it, so its all good.

  • A few songs from the 10 Years of Chucky Pt. 2 Album
  • Nanou2 and avril14th - Aphex Twin
  • Untitled - Squarepusher
  • All These Things I've Done and Mr. Brightside - The Killers

About the only stuff on your list I don't like are the killers, lol. I don't know the SGX song, or Utabi, or Modselektor (though the name is familiar), but Boards of Canada, R

Plaid's a really great IDM outfit, it's funny that I've never seen anyone here (as in the Bemani community) mention them. I've had IDM discussions other places, and everyone's like "wtf, Plaid is legendary, it's like Aphex Twin".
