No More Heroes just keeps looking cooler and cooler

I really do want it. At first the combat looked like repetitive slash slash slash then final blow, but now it looks a lot better with all of the punches that can stun and then go into a throwing move. Almost looks like God Hand.

Quote
Control in the game is a highlight of the experience, thanks to a very smart use of the Wii controller as well as a combo system tailor-made to show it off. You'll move Travis with the Nunchuk and use the C button to reset the camera behind you. When held down, the Z button locks on to your enemy, and it also automatically blocks if you're not attacking. You'll use the remote to attack by pressing the A and B buttons to punch and kick. You'll be able to perform powerful charge attacks by holding down either button for a bit. The remote's D pad will let you dodge attacks by pressing up, down, left, or right if you're locked on to an enemy, which works well. The B button will also let you initiate powerful multipart wrestling moves that will require you to follow onscreen prompts to wave the remote and Nunchuk in specific directions. The interesting wrinkle to your attack is that Travis' attack level is determined by the height at which you hold the Nunchuk and remote. Holding the controllers rather high causes all your attacks to land from around the chest up, whereas holding them a bit lower directs your attacks to the chest and below. This becomes an important element during battle when enemies start to block your attacks, and was also useful, in the case of the demo, during the boss fight. From what we figured out, if you can match the height of an incoming projectile from Destroyman and time your attack properly, you can actually bat it back at him.

This plus Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden are going to be some of the best action games coming out.

Also: I quit before the second generation of slivers came out, so nyah. :3

I mentioned my timeline was this: Start.. ?? I dunno. End.. Sometime after Ice Age came out, probably about when chronicles came out.
I have cards from tempest, exodus, and another 1 or 2 of those as well (well, had, I doubt I own more than 5 cards any more.)

I started back just before 7th came out, and then stopped before the next set of slivers came out, so pretty quickly.

My first booster pack from 7th had a Serra Angel in it. Pretty good luck for me, lol.
This is going in my sig. :)

Heh, nice. I started right as 7th edition came out, and stopped buying cards right as the card art style changed. So yeah, 8th edition. I started playing again recently though, over OCTGN.

Double-poost.

So, actually, I think I am going to attempt to set up a campaign for d20 Future, provided I have two or three takers. Who's up for it?

This is why you don't give Spectere access to fbset:

SECOND MOST USELESS FRAMEBUFFER EVER (second to the null driver, of course).

The hell does fbset do? Also, 320x240 on a screen that is more than 10" is painful to see. (minus TVs of course)

I don't know anything about modern, to be honest.

It's the same system, for the most part. I think things are on a smaller scale, that's about it. I've played them both, and it was definately simpler to make a character for d20 Modern than for D&D, that's for sure. I'm going to have my campaign be mostly realistic, so there isn't going to be any mucking around with spells and such, so I'm going to have a modify the rules and potential classes a bit.

Plus, I prefer a sci-fi setting to a fantasy one.

Displays the current mode that the Linux framebuffer is running in.  It also allows you to change it.

At that resolution, the letters are literally as wide as my pinky.

That's how you make a stable Gentoo installation an unstable one.

It's not for my main one, of course; it's for my secondary one, just to fool with.
